HPV

ØWhat
is Huma Papilloma virus and how it spread?

Ourselves (men):
Human Papilloma Virus is a Sexual Transmission Disease that isn’t visible in
men but in women it does by causing itchy, scratch, irregular fluid movement.
It can be spread by contact between reproductive systems in both men and women.

Patient (female):
It’s a disease that cause cancer, warts and doesn’t allow people to have sexual
relations, it makes people have itch which are very uncomfortable, and
bothersome, I’m not completely sure but it may cause cancer. It hurts when it’s
in an advanced phase. It is spread through sex.

Doctor: HPV is a
disease caused by a virus with the same name, it has no cure since it’s a viral
disease, but it can be controlled if it’s detected in time, but that’s kind of
difficult in men since it’s a silent disease, which doesn’t show any symptoms
nor signs, but if the men has constant medical checks he can detect it, control
it, on the other side, women have an easier way to detect it since it cause
itchy, scratches, etc. when it’s starting, this way it can be detected and
controlled, but if people detect it too late or doesn’t pay attention to the
symptoms it can cause warts to appear, lead to serious injuries and even to
vulva, vagina, penis, anus, oropharyngeal cancer (in some cases), testicle and
cervix cancer.

It can be spread
through oral, anal and vaginal sex, maybe by using public bathrooms or sharing
items (underwear) with someone who’s infected but this last 2 have a low or no
chance to happen.

ØWhat
are the main risks of contracting the guan papilloma virus?

Yourself: The main
risks of getting HPV is that you get a STD that will not allow you to have
sexual relationship, also the one of the main risks is that you can transmit
the disease, in woman it can make them sterile and also it can produce Cervical
Cancer, in the man it isn’t that harmful because it may only produce warts.

Patient: Man: It
is the worst disease ever it causes a lot of warts genital zone and they are
very uncomfortable, that’s the only risks that men can have with this disease
and it won’t be a problem for long because the warts may go away alone,

Woman: but as a
women it is extremely dangerous because cancer could be produced so you can get
killed by it, so it is very dangerous and it need to be treated immediately.
Also it produces a lot of uncomfortable things such as itch in the vagina and
also bad smell.

Doctor: HPV can
cause cervical and other including cancer of the vulva, vagina, penis, or anus.
It can also cause cancer in the back of the throat, including the base of the
tongue and tonsils

Cancer often takes
years, even decades, to develop after a person gets HPV. The types of HPV that
can cause genital warts are not the same as the types of HPV that can cause
cancers.

There is no way to
know which people who have HPV will develop cancer or other health problems.
People with weak immune systems (including individuals with HIV/AIDS) may be
less able to fight off HPV and more likely to develop health problems from it.

(Centers for
Disease Control and Prevention, 2014)

ØWhat
are the causes of the death in Mexican women?

Doctor: The treatment
diseases are ischemic cardiopathy, Diabetes and Chronic kidney diseases.

Yourself: Diabetes
, cancer and HIV.

Patient (women):
Breast cancer, diabetes and HIV.

Patient (man) : Prostate
cancer, cirrhosis and HIV.

ØWhat
is the most common cancer in the population of Mexican women?

Patient: I will lose
my chest, there isn’t a cure, I will die!, I will search at internet to get
more information about it and see what other women think about this Women that
also have this type of cancer.

Doctor: This type
of cancer forms in tissues of the breast. The must type of bre is ductal
carcinoma, which begins in the lining of the milk, ducts.

Yourself: For me
the breast cancer is the secure definitely death for a woman. I know that they
can lose their breast.
Recomendation: Take constant medical check ups.

a)What is the human papilloma virus and how it spread?
Doctor:
HPV is the most common sexually transmitted infection (STI). HPV is so common that nearly all sexually active men and women get it at some point in their lives. There are many different types of HPV. Some types can cause health problems including genital warts and cancers. But there are vaccines that can stop these health problems from happening.
You can get HPV by having vaginal, anal, or oral sex with someone who has the virus.
Me:
Is a sexual transmitted desease (STD), that dont show signs or symptoms for us the mens.
Patient:
Is a virus that can be transmitted by sexual relationships. This virus dont show signs and symptoms for the mens but for the women there are someones like bad smell, scratchs, etc.

B) what are the main risks of contracting the human papilloma virus?
Doctor- It can cause health problems like genital warts and cancer. Genital warts usually appear as a small bump or group of bumps in the genital area. HPV can cause cervical and other including cancer of the vulva, vagina, penis, or anus. It can also cause cancer in the back of the throat, including the base of the tongue and tonsils.
Me: the risks of contracting HPV is getting warts on the genital zone as a male, is more complex for the women who contract this disease because this could end in cancer or getting them sterile.
Patient: you can get warts on the genital zone, the benefits of being a male with this disease is that you may never present signs or symptoms but you can transmit it to the women, as a women you can get cancer or get sterile but there are treatments for this disease and a vaccine to prevent it before you initiate your sexual life.

c)What are the main causes of death in Mexican woman?
As a doctor:
1. Heart disease
2. Cancer
3. Stroke

Patient:
1.Cancer
2. Hvp- human papilloma virus
3. Hypercholesterolemia

Myself:
1. Cancer
2. Overweight
3. Hypercholesterolemia
Why? Because we have listened in different media that the principal cause of Mexican death is cancer and it could probably can be the consequence of the human papilloma virus, also we write overweight because Mexico is inside of the worlds top ten list of overweight. And hypercholesterolemia because the Mexican food have very high percentage of cholesterol.

d) What is the must common cancer in Mexico?
The most common cancer in Mexico is the breast cancer.
In the 2014, 30 of 100 women that went to the hospital because a tumor were diagnosticated with breast cancer. Each year they are diagnosticated 1.38 millions of new causes.

Recommendation: It is important to have a continuous check and to be careful about with who are we having sexual relations and be really clean with your body.

·Recommendation to prevent (HPV) Human Papilloma Virus:

Vaccines can protect males and females against some of the most common types of HPV. HPV vaccines are safe and effective. They are given in three doses over six months. HPV vaccines are most effective when given at 11 or 12 years old (CDC, 2015).

People can also lower their chances of getting HPV by being in a faithful relationship with one partner; limiting their number of sex partners; and being with a partner who has had no or few prior sex partners. Also see a doctor regularly (CDC, 2015).
