The reason being is that each state has at least one of the representatives. Which are decided by the state's population. While for the U.S Senate, there are 100 members. With each state being represented by 2 senators.</p>]]></description>

Even though there isn't a single person who leads the Legislative Branch, there is leadership of the houses. The speaker of the House Representatives who leads over the house and the vice president who leads the Senate. There is also majority and minority leaders who lead their individual parties.</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>To serve in the Legislative Branch as a State Senator you'll have to be 18 to 30 years old. While for a state representative you have to be 18 to 25 years old. The requirements to be a state legislator are that you have to be a district resident for 1 year in most states, a State resident for 30 days between 5 years, you have to be US citizen in most states, and you'll have to be a registered voter. These requirements are also the qualifications you'll need to be in the Legislative Branch.</p>]]></description>
