I chose to refer to the designed learning experience as an e-training course as there is a stronger focus on acquiring a skill than knowledge and also because there is a practical, synchronous element embedded in the design of the experience, the virtual classroom. This e-training course has recorded scenarios in Unit 3 and practice tasks to focus participants on immediate applicability to their role and hands-on experience in Unit 4

Social learning aims at engaging participants, whereas self-managed learning aims at active learning, combining independent learning, and interactive learning with others.
