It is hard to think that one day, there will be a last human left on the universe just like you and me. And there will be a last generation of humans no matter what we do. People always try to escape or evade reality and the repetitive usage of insufficient prevents this because every way out you can find is stopped by another usage of the word insufficient which at the end leaves you hopeless to find a way to escape reality and you are left with Asimov,  reality and your mind to digest the reality. The writer's use of insufficient could be symbolising the need for a more powerful computer and more data for this complex problem but it is never enough to answer.

     I think the older guy’s pessimistic. He always talks about how the Suns will die, and the universe’s gonna end. So, nothing is sufficient for a sustainable future for humans.

And he consistently reminds him the things that Adell didn’t consider. The repetation of “INSUFFICIENT” could be symbolizing the impossibility of predicting the universes behavior. And this legitimatizes Lupov’s idea. The only truth is, nothing will last forever.

The writer tries us to tell that, no matter what the kind of humanity do, there will always be an error at the end. No question is answered easily, no problem is solved easily either. This means the meaningless effort the humanity spends to make things easier and answer questions. In addition, no data is sufficent no matter the situation. There was and always will be some kind of data which is unknown for the kind of humanity.

However, the whole situation arrives at a point where there is nothing to melt (so there is not such a thing called universe anymore) and AC is able to answer the question while the other machines say ''INSUFFICIENT DATA FOR MEANINGFUL ANSWER.'' because they still have something to process, but there is nobody to tell. The program says "LET THERE BE LIGHT!" and starts life again, which is the answer. In conclusion, the repetition of the word "insufficient" means that there cannot be scientific data found about the survival of mankind and the continuity of the starts because there is still something to collect information. We can understand that even though we have full potential to do some things, the answers to some questions will never be given. Because everything in the universe is insufficient like you and me. And also the Great Gokalpus, even he is insufficient.
