For example  the priests had to constantly clean themselves in holy water several times a day. Also to prove their cleanses they had to rinse their mouths out with a salt solution to prove they were cleaned of wrong things. For example The pharaoh was apparently "chosen" by gods and they ruled over all of ancient Egypt. It was important because they made all of the important decisions in Egypt and lead them very well. Ancient Egypt was located on the top of Africa as we know it now. Ancient Egypt was very protected because of their location and helped them stay safe. Egypt was protected by a dessert and a ocean on the other side.
