I had never used any software like adobe audition before so that was interesting to get to use. I found that it took a long time to remember how to cut certain parts of the audio recording, but once I had done it I was able to cut and edit the audio quickly. I liked the interviewing as it was a casual environment and I found that conversation flowed when being interviewed about my topic and whilst I was interviewing Miya about her topic. Although I enjoyed the radio session, I don't think I would pick it to study again.

I was not expecting myself to be able to creatively write because it had been a long time since I last did it. The first assignment where we had to walk around and photograph items of the same colour to use as prompts for our creative writing narratives help me to think more creatively. Taking the photographs was really useful and inspired the ideas for my story. Additionally, I enjoyed collaborating with my group to write a script for a horror film .

Next time, I would spend more time adding in more frames so that the final animation looked more seamless. I would also stick down the background so that it won't move around. It was interesting to use the cameras and lighting and DragonFrame to produce the stop motion animation as I have never done anything like it before. Although I enjoyed the animation practical session, I would not pick it to study more in depth.

I really like Interactive Media and I found the website coding really interesting. I chose Succession as the theme of my website as it reflects 'perseverance' well and I really like the show and it's complex characters. Using websites such as Adobe colour, Brackets and Google fonts I was able to customise my website in the way I wanted. I used the promotional posters of the different seasons of the show as the background images. It was difficult at first to understand how to do the coding but once I had gotten used to it it was easy to change the fonts styles and colours in the 'style.css' section and change the text in the 'index.html' section. I would pick interactive media to study next year as I would like to learn more about website production and design.

I really like the Journalism taster session as it made me reflect of the variety of types of journalism such as News and Features. I enjoyed using OtterAI to interview Miya about an item she bought from home and I enjoyed being interviewed by her. I would pick Journalism to study next year as I really liked the practical session and I enjoyed the interviewing process. I would pick journalism to study further as I am interested in the interviewing process and journalistic writing in magazines.

I really enjoyed illustration, for my initial illustrations I was inspired by the works of Daniel Batista, Alice Bloomfield and Angela Kirkwood. I also used images from Issey Miyake Runway shows and adverts from the 1950's as inspiration for my initial drawings, however I did not use these in my final design. I wanted to create a drink carton that had flowers and fruit on with bright colours, similar to the work of Jaenam Yoo. I enjoyed using photoshop to layer my illustrations onto the carton and warp the images and text so that it fits.

I found Media Campaigns really interesting, especially campaigns that are produced through social media. I made a campaign to remind people about the war in Ukraine and to increase media coverage around key events. While I enjoyed studying Media Campaigns, I don't think I would pick it as a module to study next year.

I really enjoyed learning about TV as I felt that I was able to expand my knowledge about Film Language such as shot types and diegetic/ non-diegetic sound. I initially found the theme "bubbles" hard but when I talked with my group I had a clearer idea and we were able to work together to think of a plan to draw from on the storyboard. We used the theme bubble to reflect a "study bubble", where a Uni student is studying for exams and they are in their own bubble during their time doing work. We filmed around campus, using different shot types and angles. I enjoyed the TV practical session, however I don't think I would do it as one of my two Next year as I am not as interested in TV production.

I really enjoyed the photography practice session. I went outside of campus and around New Cross to take my photos. I like the composition of the photo of the antique shop and how the doors frame the image to attract the focus on the centre. I increased the saturation as well to make the antique artefacts stand out. In the image of the train tracks I like the grid shape that they form and the contrast between the trees on the sides and the high-rise buildings in the background. In the final image I chose this sign outside of a pub as I thought it was interesting that there was no poster inside of it. The clouds also add an emotional moody atmosphere to the image.
