In the Appendix of the Integrated Math 2 CPM notebook, we learned how to solve complex and big equations. Then we began to learn how to use the order of operations. Finally, we learned how to show our work and explain it, step by step. This connects to chapter 1, where we show our work in every problem and use functions to complete the problems.

In chapter 1 of the Integrated Math 2 CPM notebook, we learned how to use partnership to solve puzzles and use it to help us figure out functions. First we collaborated with our partners to solve puzzles, in order to find out if our equations led to the same answer. Then we used function machines as a way of being able to learn how to do functions in a way that's memorable and can be memorized. Finally, we used a function machines to help us figure out a graph. This connects to chapter 2: Linear functions, because we solved a graph using a function which led to us solving linear graphs with functions, which is the primary goal of what chapter 2 is about.

In chapter 2 of the Integrated Math 2 CPM notebook, we learned how to solve tile patterns, slope, and writing the equation of a slope and a point. First we found patterns of linear growth using tile patterns, using these tile patterns, we made functions of the linear equations and we graph it. Then, we used linear graphs to find slopes and marked down their points, and their values. Finally, we were given the slope and point of a graph before the equation and we had to use our knowledge prior to this in order to create an equation that matched the slope and point. This connects to Chapter 2: in which we used Linear functions to help us find the products.

In chapter 3 of the Integrated Math 2 CPM notebook, we learned how to use graphs to help us find the y-int and the slope to create an equation. First, we graphed linear functions again in order to refresh our memories to begin a graphing project. Then, we explored exponents and learned the laws to exponents, letting us solve exponents with ease. Finally, we used area models to help us multiply and we found areas as products and sums. This connects to chapter 1 in which we borrowed the idea of solving big and complex equations.
