We had a table set up at the building entrace and our FEL was there to help parents. However, some parents thought that was too public. We were trying to save time during confernces, but we may have to tweak that.

I didn't know that if a parent already signed for their Read Plan, they don't have to sign again. Also, so are not signed but they don't get to go back and sign if it acknowledged without a signature.

Is there a way for us to see if parents did the online acknowledgement? A few parents took the directions home who didn't have their passwords, but we're not sure if we can see if they signed them at home.

Despite two weekly reminders of how to see if parents signed digitally, teachers still not following up/through...but I get it, it's a small drop in the bucket of many things to do.

Teachers send parents an email explaining that their child was placed on a READ plan and this plan willl be discussed at conferences. The information for how to acknowledge was in there. We also had table set up in the main hall during conferences.

Our conferences were in September before all our teachers had a chance to complete 2nd progress monitoring and initiation of READ plans so doing the acknowlegment at conferences was not an option.

We had several families needing translation, there were not enough people available. Made it quite uncomfortable
