I consider rubrics minimize teacher biases in assessing students delivery. If we consider that there might be a slight possibility of under or over demanding our students. There's also this sense of accountability and metacognition process that may boost student's learning. Finally, rubrics display students processes as they evolve. Rubrics lead us to standardize the assessment criterias. Since every teacher is assessing under the same conditions, students will receive a score which may not vary that much, when a different teacher is evaluating. Therefore, the score would evidence assessments qualified criteria.

Besides, the rubrics help every teacher to define what he or she needs to assess in a particular activity. Then, it provides enough tools to recognize what it’s important to be evaluated.
