Hamlet has a growth mindset.

According to the definition of a growth mindset is that if you have a growth mindset you tend to try again, take a new approach, and bounce back. Therefore, when deciding to kill King Claudius, he thinks that the ghost might be lying so he decides to put on a play to see if King Claudius did kill his father.

In this quote Hamlet is unsure if he wants to follow the ghost's orders to kill King Claudius. If he is going to kill King Claudius he wants be sure before he just takes an innocent man's life. So he decides to to put on a play about his father's death. The plan is during the play is that he will watch King Claudius closely to see if he feels uneasy and guilty while watching the play. By doing this Hamlet will know for sure that King Claudius killed his father.
This shows Hamlet's mindset because he wants to take a new approach before he decides to kill King Claudius. I think that he needs a new approach because I think that he hasn't needed to really decide on anything. I mean we don't know much about his life before King Hamlet died but we can just assume that he was acted like a prince and didn't really need to do anything until now. So, in my opinion, he has to overthink things because he can't make a decision. I am guessing he has never made such a big decision before. He just did whatever without thinking it over. But, now he has to make this decision and decide whether to kill King Claudius.

Hamlet acts the way he does because he feels like he betrayed by his mother. I mean his mother married pretty fast after his father died. And she married his uncle. I mean I would act the way Hamlet does too. Hamlet is full of anger because of his mother marrying so fast after his father's death. He is so full of anger that he is really sassy towards the king and queen.

In the quote Hamlet is talking with his mother in her bedroom and he is getting in her face. He kind of tells her about how he feels about her marrying too soon and marrying his uncle. He is angry with her and being sassy to her. After he kills Polonius his mother tells him that it was a bad deed. He throws back at her that it was a bad deed for her to marry his uncle that killed the king.
This shows Hamlet acts the way he acts because he is angry with his mother for marrying his uncle and he is really sassy because of it. Before, I believe he was never full of anger, he was just a prince. But, when he father died he became full of anger. And it didn't help that his mother married so fast and to his uncle. The anger just piled on top of the anger he already had. He has to be sassy to them because it is a way for him to show them that he is angry with them.

In the quote King Claudius calls everyone into the chamber to thank them for their support from the lost of the dead King Hamlet. Hamlet is there mourning his father's death. He is depressed because of his father's death and his mother's quick marriage.
This shows Hamlet's downfall because before his father died I think that Hamlet was at his happiest. But when his father died he became angry and depressed. He is so depressed that his black clothing can't show how he truly feels as said in the quote above. He is so depressed that nothing can show how he feels.
