In rural areas women would be seen in a one-piece draped or wrapped clothing, men may also wear large wool cloaks. When getting married the couples clothing represents their social status. In postcolonial Africa the popularity of traditional attire has fluctuated according to political, religious, and economic circumstances.</div>]]></description>
