They are twenty three teenagers who are about 15 and 16 years old. Most of them come from a low socio economic level. 
As soon as I came into the class, the teacher introduced me as a teacher who was going to be with them for a few weeks so they should be nice with me.
The teacher, Alejandro, started the lesson and they were just about to start with simple past of the verb to be since they havent had classes for almost two months as the school had some issues so it was closed.
The first class that I observed many of the girls asked me about me and when I was going to be their teacher.
The teacher started the lesson and some of the students were not engaged in the class since they were studying for another subject. At this point I realised that I had to plan engaging activities in which they had to work in order to have their attention. The first class that I observed lasted only 40 minutes and it is in the last period so they were quite anxious for leaving and finishing their day class. 
On the second day, their lesson started very early so they were very sleepy and most of them arrived late at least that happen this day.
Alejandro started the lesson using their book and many of the teens didnt have it so they had to work with their classmate. The book was grammar based so it lacked of vocabulary to introduce the topics so I knew that this was going to be a big challenge for me. Besides the time that this group had their classes was another point to take into account when I planned the class. I was extremely anxious to start right away with my plannings since I had to think a lot each activity carefully

I was in the middle of two different perspectives since I wanted to set a topic to create a realistic atmosphere to learn. The teacher thought it was not a good option so I tried to do my best in these two lessons. 
The lessons were about the verb to be in simple past but the book did not introduce new vocabulary so I had to introduce the new topic almost without lexis. 
In the second lesson, I was allowed to introduce some new lexis so I was relieved as I could plan my third class using new vocabulary.
In the first two lessons, I tried to practise the simple past of the verb to be with biographies but I found the classes rather boring. 
I also realised that the class was not used to listen English so I tried to mix body gesture, English and some Spanish to help them understand but after the first class, they were engaged with the activities and topic. 
I planned as many games as possible in the classes so learners could be motivated and understand the new topic.

It was based in grammar but the teacher was reluctant to introduce new vocabulary until the fourth class. My lesson plan was not as I wanted since It was more of the previous classes and it lacked of a realistic and meanignful setting to practise.
At this point, I was extremely nervous and stressed but I kept working and trying to do my best so students could understand. 
In this class, I used famous people to talk about the past in positive and negative form so learners were more interested. The class was delivered as I had planned beforehand and learners did a poster to stick on the wall. 
I had to tell students that the following class they were going to have a practical assigment so they had to study for it. I explained the whole assigament and they started, many students arrived late so I had to explain to each of them the assigment.
To my surprise, many students finished the assigment very soon. 
I uploaded this lesson plan late since I had to wait until the teacher had checked the exam twice and then I could upload so my tutor marked it as late uploaded so I felt extremely bad. I prepared the class with a lot of flashcards and I could even use a short video so the class was very interesting and motivating for students.
As soon as, I entered the class I showed learners the video about a couple who travelled to Paris. They were really excited since It was their first video in English. Learners were enthusiastic all the time. They worked in a relaxed and engaged way with the material. I had to tell them that the following class was going to be the last one.
I felt sad and happy at the same time since I knew that the end was near which I had waited for so much time.
The last class was really nice I did just a listening comprehension activity and a boardgame in order to practise the vocabulary and grammar topics. 
I took a cake so we finished our last class eating chocolate cake.
The students were really sad as I was since it was the end of my practicum with them.
