This song speaks about a lot of things, but most importantly, love and why they (the black eyed peas) feel like love is lost. In the song they ask god where is the love(hence the song title) and talk about people killing and lying and hurting each other because they have forgotten what love for each other is. the thing I want you to listen for when you here this song is the tone, how they put their emotions into the lyrics.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WpYeekQkAdc

this song is about how a boy who is gay feels like he has no one to talk to and he feels outcasted by his peers because of who he love, he wants to kill himself because of all the hate he feels towards himself. this song is meant to not only draw awarness to suicide but to also show that there are people who understand what it is like and that we aren't alone. we will always have someone even if we haven't met them yet. All I can ask for you to do is listen to the lyrics because they have the most emotion in the entire song

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FIjGDa_YFYA

Same Love by Macklemore

this song has a special meaning to me because it shows that everyone is human. Just because someone loves the same gender dent mean they are any different from someone who loves the opposite gender. We all bleed, we all cry, we all hurt. We hurt the most when we can't be who we are in society because of fear of isolation, this song proves that even though these men who loved each other had hardships, they stayed together because they love each other and no one could change that. This song helps me a lot and I want you to listen to not only the lyrics but also the instrumentals because that goes with the song just as much as the lyrics do.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OQngzapK5dM
