Ethical behaviour can benefit a company in many ways. Companies should have ethics codes to promote ethical behaviour and not to enhance productivity, profits or public relations. Some benefits of ethical behaviour include increased employee performance, job satisfaction and trust within the organisation. Ethical behaviour is key to improving a company and its success as employees will feel more comfortable working for a company that is behaving ethically. There are many ways an organisation can reduce unethical behaviour within its workplace such as by creating a code of conduct, ensure they are leading by example, be proactive to unethical behaviour, ensure you are hiring correctly and inline with your organisations values.

The benefits of ethical behaviour is that everyone in the workplace/ environment would/should be happy and content, which would result in a positive outcome for all aspects of the business.
You could reduce unethical behaviour by making sure there is a code of conduct in place and all employee's are aware of this, make sure that if this code of conduct is not being followed that there is some sort of follow up/ consequences for unethical behaviour.
Also by making sure all line managers lead by example and show employee appreciation when needed.
Another way unethical behaviour could be reduced is making sure all employee's are given the right training from the get go and make sure the workplace expectations are known from the very start of the recruitment process.
