Both my parents are from Pakistan, making me 100% Pakistani too. My father is from Permahal, a small village, and my mother is from Lahore. I have provided a picture of Pakistan to show you where it is. I have always been very deeply connected with my ethnicity and have always felt extreme pride for where I come from, the people, the culture, the language, everything makes me proud to be Pakistani.

Music

Music has been something that I can deeply connect too, whenever I listen to music it helps me to distress and disconnect from everything around me. I'm mostly into alternative and indie music. Mostly Deftones, XXXTENTACION, Type O Negative, and many more bands and solo artists. My favorite song right now is probably, Things I Should of Said by Tory Lanez. I chose this picture because it shows my playlist and my taste in music.

As I grew up my whole family spoke Urdu around me, so I eventually picked it up as well. I also go to Pakistan every summer which allows me to brush up on my Urdu skills too. Thanks to my grandma as well I'm able to practice Urdu with her too, obviously I'm not the best but I'm pretty good at it.

Religion

Although I'm not extremely religious I do believe I am deeply connected with my religion. I have always grown up around the Islamic culture making me feel very connected with it, since I've been around it since I was young I was able to learn a lot about Islam, of course I also did my own research and found that I really do resonate with it. I chose this picture cause it shows a Jinamaz, which is a prayer rug for when we pray. It's a cute picture cause my cat Bebo is sitting on it.

Generation

I'm apart of Generation Z which was the only generation to have access to the internet while growing up. I really do believe this has had a major impact on all of us even me. We have been labeled as a generation who looks more towards their phones more than anything else, and I do believe that is true. This effects a lot of aspects of our daily lives and the way we think as well.

Fashion

In all honesty, I don't really find myself being to fascinated with fashion. My personal style is honestly very boring I usually just wear hoodies and what not. However I do like my culture's fashion like shawakamiz's. They are the traditional dresses worn in Desi culture. It's long and usually is over the top but it's still very pretty. In this picture you can see what I wore to Eid. In case you don't know what Eid it is the celebration after Ramadan to celebrate fasting for 30 days.

I have 4 other family members, my father Numair, my mother Maliha, and my two older sisters, Simra and Vaneezeh, and I can't forget our cat, Bebo. I am the youngest out of my siblings. I have always been very close with my family, especially my cousins on my fathers side, Mustafa and Raza. I enjoy my family's company and will always love spending time with them. I chose this picture because it shows how close I was with my father and how me and my sister would always love hanging out with him over our friends.

I am someone who enjoys being around their friends a lot just like how I enjoy being with my family, a lot of my friends have also turned into family at this point. I have made very close friends this year like, Ryan, Gustas, Indigo, and Tony. And I have been blessed with friends I have had longer like Milena, Hafsah, and Zara. I love being surrounded with good people and good energy.

Education

I do take education serious because I do want to be successful when I'm older, however I do sometimes lose motivation easily making it harder for me to be able to stay focused. I also do believe that someones grades do not define them as a person because I have met many people who are extremely wise but their grades don't reflect that.

Hobbies

I'd like to say I'm a very spontaneous person, if someone were to ask me to do something last minute I would definitely say yes. I also love doing things that will give me a lot of adrenaline so I jetski a lot and I go to a lot of car meets with my dad and uncle to and race a bunch of other cars. I enjoy doing things like that but also do enjoy simple and relaxing things to like listening to music or just playing video games with friends. I chose this video because it shows how peaceful it is hearing the water and seeing the whole city right in front of you while jet skiing.
