If you didn’t already know, Danganronpa is a storyline/mystery game where a group of students are forced into a killing game where you must kill to survive. I can relate this game to the Donner party because of the way the stories layout. In both of the stories, people are picked off one by one and they slowly decrease in number. While also some of the character’s deaths in the game include someone being turned into butter. A group of multiple families with George Donner as their leader decided to hop on the trail and move west. After a little while of traveling, they were stopped by someone. That someone, had told them that there was a shortcut to the place they wanted to be. They had taken a vote and decided that they would try out the shortcut in hopes that they would make it there faster. But after a long while of traveling, they were stopped at snowfall and were getting stuck in multiple situations. Teams of people tried to reach them and rescue them but it was too much and they couldn’t make it in time and indeed up getting caught on the other side of the problems that the families had faced. And overall, the trial took them a long while after a year to get through with the addition of not having enough food t support all of them, only half of them had survived. But half of the survivors had to resort to eating the dead party members to stay alive. But, there were a few bumps in the road. One of the issues being the spread of Cholera from lack of sewers. Since towns were being upgraded to look nicer and have telegraphs, cities were focused on things above ground instead of what would happen below ground. Since there was freshwater below the surface that went down into rivers in lakes where the towns’ water was collected, it would be really easy for it to be contaminated. After a long while of trash being thrown on the streets, and animals creating waste, they soon started to contaminate the cities water supply. This is what had caused the spread of Cholera. And since Cholera is a disease that is spread through contaminated water that causes issues with the stomach, along with dehydration. But if it is not treated quickly, it can be fatal. This making is a harsh epidemic on cities population. And larger issues in the government.

While those things were all improving, this revolution had problems on its hands. Such as issues with telegraph messages and sewer issues. Though this is something that happens fast, these side effects might not show up for a long time making it hard to tell when it's going to happen. Another thing that is spread throughout is caused by cows. This is called “Mad cow disease” and it happens when a human/person, eats the meat of a contaminated cow. How does this cow become contaminated you ask? Well, it’s because it has eaten a cattle of its own or has eaten another cow, causing it to be infected. While this doesn’t seem like much, this disease can cause the consumer to have nematodes. I believe that they saw the underground railroads as a ticket to freedom because those railroads are what had to lead them to be free from slavery. I also think that their ticket to freedom came from their talent to lay low and finally make an escape with their skill.
But you may be asking, what is a ticket of freedom known in today’s time? Well, a ticket to freedom is something that we can refer back to in our day-to-day lives by just thinking about our skills and talents that can lead us to be what we want to. Our skills represent these tickets while our dreams are that freedom, our success. These talents could be, writing, mathematics, chemistry, and many more. 
I stand by our tickets being our day-to-day skills because the article on gen Z exclaims that our work ethic and skill can help us succeed in the workforce. I found it very intriguing that we students can use these tickets to succeed and lead us to the freedom that we desire. I feel that just from our talents the article proves that we can grow as learners and become independent people working in the near future. 
But when relating this to my life, some of the tickets that I possess are artistic talent and the ability to have perseverance. I say these two things since if I would like to take on an art career I can do so easily with my talent and it can help me lead to the freedom I so desire. I also say perseverance because this can help me to continue working long shifts and periods of time. Like for example, when working on my genius hour getting it ready to be presented, I continued to work for 4 hours just to make it perfect. And I wouldn’t be able to do this if I didn't have perseverance and faith in myself. And their weapons aren’t as impressive as the ones our army uses now. Whether it’s the scope range or the shots per minute. The newer weapons have a lot more firepower than the ones used in the Civil War. So let’s compare a weapon from both times to get an idea of the improvements to these weapons. If we think about a random weapon from the Civil war, I think of the sharps rifle. This rifle was used in the war with a range of 1000 yards. A pretty good range for an old gun if you ask me. But if we take a look at a Steyr Arms HS50 from more recent times. It has a range of 1650 which is an improvement from the gun from the civil war. She was somewhat strict but women had feared to be checked by her and be under her command. Making them find ways to go past her approval to get into nursing in the war. And after getting to finally aid in the wars, nurses had a hard time keeping track of their patients. While they had a hard time running around helping many people, some people wouldn’t make it due to their wounds. He seems to have lost his way and decided to wander around looking for where to go next when a frog croaks and begins to lead him in the right direction towards a swamp. From there animals lead him through this trail all the way to a safe house where the save cannot be found and caught by the slave catchers. And there are many reasons and representations in this book. One of those things is how the way the book plays out. It could possibly lay out this way because it can show that animals were almost like stepping stones in the process of getting through the swamps when it’s dark and the moon isn’t there to guide anyone. Since when it is dark, mosquitoes and other animals are out in the tall grass of the swamps making it hard for hunters to catch the runaways. It required a lot of attention in the long run and it’s not that easy. The steps it takes are fairly short and don’t require too much effort but the last few steps are hard especially in the environment of the buildings around the receivers. The first step is sending the message. The message is sent by telegraph that usually will punch a code into a paper as you put it in. That leads into the next step where the code is sent to the main receiving party, also known as a building where there are man receivers that decode the text in a series of beeps. Where in steps 3 & 4 the message is given and the message will be played on the receiver where an employee either writes it down or remembers the code of beeps. And finally, in step 5 the receiving employee will then decode the message and report the information to whoever needs it.
