The image of God was formed in Zacchaeus mind during the encounter is the lost piece that he needed because he wants to fulfill himself and he thinks that money will satisfy his needs but when he saw Jesus his mind was blown away and started to know his losing piece. I also experience that kind of feeling when I finding my fulfillment and I think that is material things but when my cousin invite me to join an organization in the parish, I realized that helping other people is the one that will complete me. The image of salvation and light was formed in Zacchaeus mind during the encounter because God wants to seek and save him for he was lost. Zacchaeus mind was full of joy because of God that will complete his life. I realized that when God came to my life, I experience a lot of great things, I’m inspired and motivated to make others life happy.
  

            The Image that led Zacchaeus to conversion is when Jesus showed his compassion and humility because he was able to transform his point of view about the true essence of wealth. I remember when some point I think that money will make me happy because it will help me to buy things that I want but I realized it’s not the money that makes me happy, it’s the people that surrounds me that makes me happy and contented. Money is just a piece of paper but the people around me and God is my happiness. I now understand that Divine Beatitude was very significant for me because it shows dignity and love for the kingdom of God to fulfill my void in life.

For me in the story, we were asked to think about images of Jesus. Some people will most likely say something that He's like a priest, a friend, a teacher or a lover and yet, I believe that the images that we can think of may reach past boundaries. For me, Jesus is like a candle in the story of Zaccheus. When are the times that we'll use a candle? If there is no electricity, for praying and wishing intentions. In the story, Jesus is like a candle because he shed light amidst darkness of Zaccheus' life. 

"What images of God was formed in Zacheus' mind during the encounter?" - another question that was asked for us to have a deeper understanding on the story. A lot of people might relate with him and tell how they are similar with Zaccheus, but for me, it is a different story. The thing that truly struck me the most is "When they saw it, they all grumbled." (Luke 19:7). Today, that is where I knew that me and Zaccheus are very different from each other.

           Zacchaeus felt acknowledgement from Jesus when Jesus stayed in his house. He felt important that time, many times he felt despised by many people of Jericho because of his acts as a chief tax collector. Jesus, as his genuine friend, made Zacchaeus realize that richness can’t buy friendship. At the end of the day, material prosperity would not result to eternal joy nor fulfillment. Nowadays, I've noticed that people are judged based on their status in life. Based on the materials, properties, and luxuries they have. Sadly, these things dictate how dominant and how people are treated depending on their status. Material prosperity is now a basis of what a successful life is. This is the reason why people envy and wish that they could have the life of the other because of their materials and statuses. They don't realize the fact that those materials are just impermanent.

         I've come to realized that, Christ has a different plan for each and everyone of us. That I mustn't  envy and wish that I had like those of others my own definition of a "better life". Being with Jesus throughout my entire life is the best, important, and enough. Following His actions and obeying Him will surely lead me not just to a better life but a better human being and servant. I also believed in the saying, "Money can't really buy happiness."
