I think that all the areas are important, butthe first area that I think I need to work the most on is the social identity related to the community relationship, so the guiding principles will be multilingualism, integration and social inclusion, intercultural understanding, technological innovation, adaptability to ensure that these values can become the values of the younger generation, who in a few years will be active citizens of Europe. It is also important to pursue the objective to develop the sense of belonging to the European Community for a future exercise conscious of an active democracy.

In my school at the moment there is a KA2 project. The aim of the project is to enhance and promote passion for reading using new methodologies and ICT. English will be used to communicate contents and vocabulary related. At the end of the project children will produce an English Booktrailer using ICT tools. So, I think that this project helps our foreign children to develop the 21st Century Skills such as: creativity and innovation, critical thinking and problem solving, communication and collaboration, skills related to mass communication, competences in the information area, flexibility and adaptability, social and transcultural competences, productivity and liability, leadership and responsibility; - improve the knowledge of foreign languages (English) and ICT skills.

I totaly agree with Alice Isabella, it is difficult to create a class identity. Anyway teachers have significant role in helping students to feel a class identity, a feeling of belonging to a small community. For example with cooperative learning
Italian children will learn tolerance, patience, and redefining their idea of ” foreign”. Kids of different culture, will also learn patience and will learn skills from their peers. Especially for kids with mild learning disabilities or language disorders, “being exposed to language of typically developing peers is a powerful intervention for them and their language development accelerates rapidly in classroom.
