Today we recapped last week's learning before creating posters about the impact of technology on health and the strategies we can use to promote wellbeing.

Following today's input, Y5 used 'Swiggle' to run searches on a range of celebrities. First, we started out with the shared task of finding out information relating to Ronaldo before making judgements about him as a class. Next, we went on to research a chosen celebrity independently before finally coming together and sharing our findings/making judgments together once more.

Today we explored a range of scenarios as a class before using the decision tree to help us decide on a course of action/which services to use. We then went on to look at the block/reporting systems for popular social media sites.

Today we had the opportunity to apply all we know during a session on the iPads. To begin the lesson and refresh our memories, we went through the 4 C's and the characteristics of a good digital citizen. You can see that we're being really sensible here and even supporting our peers.

Following a whole class input, we designed our very own avatars. We then went on to copy, modify or alter them according to Miss Ryan's instructions. Take a look at us in action!

Today, following an input and a model, we made our own folders on the shared drive/network. All future pieces of work will be saved here to look back on.

Today, after opening a word document, we used our previously taught skills to search for information about Usain Bolt. We then added a key fact before talking about where we found the information and inserting a hyperlink.

We then, where possible, saved our work to the folders we made last week.

I can: plan the layout of my presentation; add slides to my presentation; insert titles, text boxes and images into my presentation.

Today we learned how to log in and were introduced to its layout/functions.
