I have placed a mountain in my logo because it resembles our whanau's name (mountain). The mountain in my logo has been created by two mountains supporters holding hands to create a mountain in them middle. The logo is important to us as it shows that the mountain is smaller than the supporter because it shows us that in order to conquer a mountain, you will need to conquer yourself. I used the colour red because it shows energy, love, determination, strength and passion. Black resembles power, elegance, and formality. White resembles light, goodness and purity. Red has been used in my logo for 3/4 of the mountain and the face of the supporters is red since they show love. Black has been used for the body of the supporters since it shows the power of our supporters. White has been used as the top quarter of the mountain to show our purity. These three colours are really symbolic and momentous to our whanau as it shows what we are about. I have shown this by having two people with their hands up to show that we have strived in order to triumph the mountain. We have also shown striving by us never giving up on the swimming sports competition. The symbolism shown in my image are important as it shows what our whanau has the ability to do. The slogan itself means no matter you hard you try unless you conquer yourself you will not conquer the mountain. Furthermore, the font is also eye-catching and is also a key part of my slogan. I have used this slogan below my actual logo, this slogan also makes our whanau seem marvellous and stunning. When the slogan, the meaning and the font mix, it creates a great atmosphere. It also tells the audience who is reading what our core values are in the whanau are.
