Like the modular algae platform pier system created by Aaron Ramos.The algae can grow on wastewater from the households and agro-industry. At the end of the chain there is the wastewater from  e.g. the spirulina production that can be totally purified with duckweed (it can purify the heavy metals). Duckweed can be used for bio-ethanol, feed, proteins, biogas.

The algae could then be used to produce fuel or feed.
