I think it seems good to limit the influence of gender roles, but I wonder if the kids being raised without a gender are ever confused. In all, I think the progressive ideas seem like they could be beneficial but truly need more research for it to be clear.

I do think the Kindergarten and school set up to limit gender stereotypes seems good.

I think that it is cool because I love the idea of being able to be interested in everything and anything and not be restricted to only the things that are promoted by your gender. I think that honestly I wish I had that as a child, but I dont think that it is necessarily a bad thing to have those kind of reactions and such.

I think that this could affect the children by making them have less internal judgements about themselves as well, if they are learning less about how they "should act" in society.

In Sweden, their views on gender norms are much more flexible and non-restrictive, whereas traditional gender roles in America are more reinforced, especially in schools. I think we should try to encourage more gender neutral activities in schools for younger children that discourage gender stereotypes.

The kids seem happy and just like normal kids.

Realistically, the only reason why this seems "crazy" or "not normal" is because our society is so dictated by gender. If a person did this with a strictly female or male child (only letting them play with "girl" or "boy" toys), then this wouldn't have been seen as "crazy liberal."

If the kids are happy, I don't see an issue with it. We said that it would likely fly in America until the kids became older, although we did agree that the primary caregiver was a bit performative, not necessarily in a bad way but just in a way that artist-type people generally are (e.g. the veggie bacon comment). A society raised without gender would be an interesting view, and I think it would likely solve a lot of gendered problems of today - albeit, it would be interesting to see how biological differences would be handled.

I understand how some people would sya that the parent could be like a little over the top and in your face about it but i thought it was interstign that they dotn correct anyonne when they call their child a certain gender. I liked that the children can play with whatever they like and chose what to wear but I think it could be affectign the childs sense and strength in their identity becasue the child doesnt kknow what they are and doesnt want to talk about it.
