         <description><![CDATA[<div>To avoid switch tasking, I will not use technology unless it is asked of me. =)&nbsp;<br>I think having students plan in a timed situation is important because it creates an authentic scenario that will be used later in life - time is not limitless and deadlines are real! Being able to quickly plan your thoughts can help increase a more cohesive response.</div>]]></description>

         <title>I can commit to the task I am working on without hopping to another. Kiddos need to plan their writing first so they can think through and create a &#39;skeleton&#39; of what their writing task is asking. Students can then right with a clear and coherent direction and not disrupt the flow of their writing.</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>It takes more time and decreases quality to switchtask. Therefore, students need to read a text, plan for a response, and then write the response without going back and forth between different focuses. If a student tries to read, plan a response, and jump into writing all at once this is an example of switchtasking.</div>]]></description>

         <title>Students need to plan or talk through their writing to successfully complete the assignment.  If they are switchtasking, they  will not be able to successfully complete the assignment to the best of their abilities. Their planning will likely be disjointed and confusing, leading to a RTl that does not make sense. </title>

I think about what I need to get done or do that task while another person is explaining something.  I would like to be more present with others. </title>
