One character trait that describes Auggie is self conscious. For example Auggie states " mom why am i so ugly" ( Palacio 60) This explains that Auggie wants to know why he is ugly. At the end of the story another character trait that describes Auggie is strong. For example Auggie states "she bent down and whispered in my ear your a wonder Auggie you really are"( Palacio 30) Auggie really is a wonder because Auggie won an award and everyone talked to Auggie.Theese are multiple reasons of why Auggie is accepted and brave. Another character from Wonder is Jack Will. One character trait that describes Jack is mean. For example it’s says “ I turnt my head around and ate my ice cream quickly”(Palacio136) Jack thought that Auggie looked like a  freak. In the end Jack is comfortable because Jack always hangs out with Auggie and sees his face. For example Jack is comfortable with seeing Auggie deformed face and so are all the other kids.Jack likes Auggie and is best friends with Auggie and he doesn’t want to talk bad about Auggie or doesn’t want anyone to talk bad about Auggie. Palacio one theme is don’t judge a book by its cover. This theme means not to judge someone on how they look on the outside but on the inside of someone. For example Eddie states “ Are you talking to me Freddie Krueger.I don’t think you want to mess with me you ugly freak”(Palacio 266) Eddie judges Auggie on how his face looked. Palacio the main characters are Auggie,Summer,Jack,Julian and Via. The story takes place at Auggie’s house and Beecher Prep  Middle schoo. The main character Auggie has a problem. The problem is that he doesn’t want to go to school because of his face deformity. At first, Auggie was given a tour around Beecher prep of were he met his best friend Jack Will. Later Jack Will talks bad bout Auggie but they made up after a while. After Julian called Auggie a freak and then Jack Will punched Julian. The story took a turn when they went on a field trip and Auggie and Jack Will got into a fight with some 7th graders. Then Amos, Miles and Henry saved them. After this event Auggie becomes popular and is accepted by all of his other friends, Julian gets expelled.
