Goal

•I want to learn or to be able to perform the footwork of badminton so that I can move around the court faster.

•And to improve the consistency of my shots, especially my backhand overhead shot.

My Plan

•I want to watch more videos on mastering my footwork and shots and learn from them.

•I will also practice with my father in a park downstairs for around 2 to 3 days per week. ( To get feedback from my father to improve or to tell me what I am doing wrong)

Schedule:

Week 0: Have a match with my father

Week 1: Watch video on footwork and practise at home

Week 2: Practise on my shooting skills

Week 3: Have another match with my father

My Learning Journey:

Week 0:

I tested my skill against my father and the score was only 21-12 in my father’s favour. I want to try and get better scores against my father

Week 1

I watched a few videos on how to improve my footwork and also learn what is the proper way to shoot the shuttlecock.

Week 2

I practiced and played against my father. Firstly I practiced my footwork and was able to reach the different parts of the court. Secondly I played and noticed an improvement in my techniques.

Conclusion

This SIL had helped me to improve my skills in my interests and I find it helpful.

Overall, it shows basic construction skills such as precise folding, positioning, and assembly, turning simple paper into a structured, star-like form.
