Human PopulationGrowth

I chose this picture to represent the theme of human population growth because it exemplifies the idea of humans being in a highly populated environment. This picture shows me in a highly crowed area. The growth of human population is rising scarcely. We are on the brink of over-population.

Humans After Natural Resources

Humans make a huge impact on many natural sources. One of them includes the beach. We put buildings and seaports for sea travel to benefit our success and entertainment in this world. As you can see in the background of the picture, you can spot many beach houses and proof that humans impact and alter the environment.

This is an urban environment because this picture takes place in Los Angeles. Los Angeles is one of the biggest cities in the world. Los Angeles has a huge population of over 3.7 million people as of 2016. million people all live in the city of Los Angeles whether it is in the house, lofts or even the streets. Streets are filled with people and cars. It is flooded with traffic everyday.

Solving environmental issues using scientific factors can every difficult because you need to understand the cultural aspect of it as well. The picture below shows a field of corn stocks. This was taken at a farm in the middle of a bustling city. It seems unusual for there to be a farm of corn in the middle of the city. I assume that the city and the farm negotiated to coexist without interfering with the city and the farming of the corn. Corn is a major produce to help us provide nutrients and feed the city. Science can be anywhere from finding new atoms to finding new ways to agriculture in the city.

The "Precautionary Principle"

The Government tries to protect the public on certain factors. Like global problems that scientist still have yet to find a solution to. Doing so will protect the public fro freaking out. In the picture below, it shows an example of a certain calamity causing the public to freak out. It could be another factor like a great depression 2 or a spread of virus through furniture. With all this junk piled on top of each other. In case if a situation happens like that upon the world where the people freaks out, this is how I would imagine the world would look like. Preserving the precautionary principle is very crucial.
