Name: ASANTE ERIC

INDEX no: 3376122

Refernce: 20913870

I use a video editing software to create and edit videos for personal projects and social media. The software has a lot of powerful features, but its interface makes certain tasks unnecessarily difficult.

Recently, I was working on a project that required syncing background music with video clips. The software does not have an automatic beat detection feature, so I had to manually align the beats with cuts in the video. The only way to do this was by zooming in on the waveform and placing markers by ear, which was time-consuming and inaccurate. Additionally, when I tried to adjust the timing of one clip, it often caused misalignment in the rest of the timeline, requiring tedious manual corrections. The undo function also worked inconsistently, sometimes undoing more changes than expected.

There's another video editing software that I have tried, and it handles this problem much better. It has an automatic beat detection tool that marks the peaks in the audio waveform, making it easy to sync video cuts to the rhythm. It also provides a ripple editing feature, which ensures that when one clip is moved, the rest of the timeline adjusts dynamically without breaking sync.

I guess the only lesson I can learn from this is to use software that has intuitive automation features and better timeline management, so I can focus more on creativity rather than fixing technical issues.
