         <title>Tips for searching the databases</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>1. Use specific topics rather than broad themes. For example, if you were searching for articles to connect to The Outsiders, you might search for "juvenile deliquency" or "teen gang violence."<br>2. Try different search terms if you aren't finding much.&nbsp; For instance, you could use the word "adolescence" instead of "teen."<br>3. Once you find some results, select "magazines" or "newspapers" to find articles.<br>4. Skim the results.&nbsp; Look especially at titles, dates, the number of words, and if available, levels (the number of dots -- 5 is the highest, and usually too hard for middle school students).<br>5. If there are a lot of results, filter further by Subjects, Document Type, Content Level (if available), and/or Topic Finder.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>
