Second, the author claims that climate change is already happening because  in some countries, unprecedented natural disasters occure such as droughts, devastating hurricanes, acifidication, loss of fisheries. Third, he states that some living beings may survive if the temperature target is reached through reforestation and technological change. Finally, the author concludes that the importance of rising temperature must be understood via IPCC, otherwise, the bad scenarios on the nature will affect all of us.

Watts (2018), argues that beyond 1.5 C is going to worsen the process of the nature such as droughts, floods, extreme heat and because of this we, humans should take the IPCC report into consideration . The  author's ideas are quite reasonable  and convincing according to research (IPCC report 2018), the World has 12 years to keep temperature in balance; otherwise the World will go into the way which it will never turn back. Everyday pepple release CO2 to the air and this quantity in every year is 30 billions tons.  Normally in atmosphere we have approximately 700 billions tons CO2. However,  we release 30 billions CO2 extra.  When the warming rises, ice caps melt and there will not be enough mass to reflect the extra CO2, thereby the surplus gas increases the amount of CO2 in atmosphere which is the reason of rising temperature. Besides, the author mentions this extra CO2 affects acidification in the oceans. At this point due to absorption of CO2 by the air, it is true that the rate of acid in the oceans depends on the rate of CO2 in the air. The more acid in the air, the more acid will be in the oceans. This means that approximately fifty percent of corals will die out. However, there is one piece of missing information Watts did not consider is that algae will be gaining profit from this phenomenon (Fabricius, 2014) you need to explain this for the reader as it is not clear) . Nevertheless, this situation will not change the fact that all the creatures in the oceans will be affected negatively.
Watts also praises that thanks to IPCC' s environmental solution by using technological change with land usage (reforestation), the World will tackle that carbon pollution by %45 by 2030. However, according to experts and UN report, people have no ability to reduce this carbon pollution even if tens of thousands years pass (BBC, 2014). As believed by IPCC report, maybe there could be more convincing information about how they will do or how the process will be. In this picture, it is not possible to hope to reduce carbon's negative effects. Moreover, there is a difficulty to measure a universal carbon budget to reach the target of 1.5 C according to Harvey (2018). Unfortunately, considering all these realities as long as people do nothing for the sake of the nature, the World is obliged to suffer from these negative circumstances. People consume more and more and while producing something most of us do not think the harms that we create. People still do not perceive that this is not a joke that the World will collapse if we do nothing. Simply put, as Watts, warming must be taken serious, there is a 3C fact and if the solution of IPCC is searched properly, the world can apply its solutions at least no more warming will happen.

Watts' argqument appears to be quite convincing because nowadays even every day a catastrophe occurs at different areas of the world.To For illustrate, everybody knows that (informal and even if you take it out, the sentence is still meaningful) with global warming the world loses huge glacier masses in pole areas and it leads to rising the sea level and also it causes to the loss of vanish pole animal's natural habitats. According to the Watts, nowadays the earth is 1°C more warmer than nonindustrial times. In the US there is a destructive hurricane catastrophe, also Cape Town suffers from droughts and forest fires. In addition, everybody can understand that climate change is not in the future it is in the now (so do you agree or disagree? this is not clear. Make your stance clear and explain your reasons.
   In conclusion,  the world's resources are being depleted by greedy companies in an irunresponsible way which harms the environment significantly. In my opinion this article is not a must-read since it doesn't give any specific information (it gives specific information, you need to adopt formal language and make clear why is this article not convincing for you?).(repetition of the same idea) Therefore i would not recommend

The author suggests the report by UN Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) in order to demonstrate the impact it has and will on the world to solve the climate change problem. According to the report, keeping warming between 1.5C and 2C is essential to reduce the impacts such as droughts, floods, extreme heat and poverty. Initially, the author illustrates some recorded impacts around the world which have occured so far. Following this, the writer uses some statistics from the report  in order to  show the facts that will happen in near future (this does not add up to meaning , be specific here). Furthermore, the author presents the IPCC'S solutions which are different combinations of land use and technological change. In addition to making connection between the  importance of deforestation and electric transport system, the writer points out the significance of restricting carbon usage. In conclusion, Watts highlights ing the prime effect of this report should have on people's opinions about climate change.

Watts (2018) presents the IPCC's report which states the necessity of keeping the global warming maximum 1.5C  and suggests it as a trigger for people to people so that they can acknowledge the circumstances which are may caused by climate change. The author's argument appears to be quite convincing because rising on the effects of climate change can be seen obviously. In this subject, the writer also uses example of oceans' elevated acidity and lower levels of oxygen. Moreover, there are commonly known impacts arising from every corner of the part of earth such as extreme and irrelevant changes on weather and then droughts or floods, devastating hurricanes, forest fires or even lack of habitats for animals. On the other hand, Watts rightly draws attention to the possible forecasts  if warming exceeds 1.5C which are quite reasonable. It can be easily implied that there would be hardships for people and animals owing to the harm on nature. However, when it comes to the conclusion, the author has a weak argument which is only presenting the UN report's importance and mentioning different land usages and technological change. Watts seems to have forgotten that s/he just shows the facts known by everyone and even does not offer unusual valid solutions (you need to make your reasons clear why are these solutions weak? why do you think so?). Because only stating deforestation or carbon pollution do not explain anything to readers (adopt careful language). Without acceptable suggestions such as inviting governments or big companies or organizations to take action against warming and cooperate on valid remedies, it is not convincing at all (explain why governments and companies should be involved?). Because most of the people already acknowledged the necessity of reducing usage of carbon or being friendly with forests so that they can breathe. However, the problem is that people need an authority to help them for protecting the environment.

Watts (2018) claims that the climate change is really a major issue that people are facing nowadays since  every half degree matters and it would make things worsen. the author seems to make strong points because the climate change has already started to happen. To illustrate, the hurricanes in the US and the forest fire in Arctic. According to the report states that the global population is exposed to water stress which would be 50% lower at 2 c° specially millions of  people who are living in poor countries would be facing the risk of climate change poverty. However, the author compared and realized that plants at 2 c are almost more likely to lose half of their habits and most of the coal will be lost rather than 1.5 c. One more point is that, the extra half degree affects the sea as well negatively. To exemplify, sea level rise threatens 10 million more people by 2100. However, the author mentioned that nowadays some oceans are facing acidity and low levels of oxygen due to the climate change. the IPCC proposed different land use and technological change in order to achieve 1.5 c and and the significant one which is reforestation since it shift electric transport system. The author states that by 2030 thanks to the offered pathways from IPCC the carbon pollution might decrease 45%. Following this, the author comments on how fast is the climate changes is occurring. Watts (2018) warns us about the consequences of rising temperature. The author claims that the reason of poor countries' poverty is not related to climate change rather than another reasons (did he really state that?) . However, his idea is not convincing and not sufficient at all. Because poverty mostly comes from drought and natural disasters for example ; countries which are dealing with poverty have not got fertile areas to grow plants because of global warming and this also leads to scarcity

What stands out to me about article is that climate change does not come on one's own, it is related to natural disasters. Watts mentions that current danger is enough for people (language hinders meaning) and s/he is completely right, persons are even late (you need to elaborate your reasons). What Watts is hopeful with are changes of technology and different usages of land but it's not enough, persons must be more aware than now (explain why? what are your reasons?).Also i can not say that Watts is wrong about the ocean, it is affected more than persons do (check grammar here). Therefore, the author fails at one point which mentions that  current situation is awful, not good but still can be saved (explain why? you need to elaborate your reasons).

The Author warns us about the problem of the world is raised 1C temperature increase and it is going to 1.5C degree. Even 0.5C temperature will cause of floods, droughts and extreme heat for millions of people. Watts thinks that if scientist cannot stop the riseing, food scarcity would be less of a problem for poor countries (check grammar, it hinders meaning). To the IPCC its not a distant future to get 2C temperature. The Author highlights that scientists are trying to create make some solutions and some of the leaders make an agreement together (Paris Agreement Pledge). The author focusing on the reforestation and trying to shift carbon free transport system are some of them. Author thinks with these this ideas its possible to keep on 1.5C with the solutions.

Watts (2018) is convincing about the climate change catastrophe. So far its not getting better. It’s worsens the humankind’s life. Watts has a reasonable argument because the temperature is rising and we can see the effects on us.

Watts states that even half a degree will worsen the risks of droughts, floods and extreme weather conditions. At that point, it seems reasonable for me  because, in Mediterranean region,where my hometown is, I seeaw some extreme rainy days and it turns into a flood in front of my eyes. That situation is not normal for Mediterranean region, I believe that climate change is responsible for that. Moreover, Watta (2018) (I have changed this into APA as you are expeced to borrow information from the article you read) he describes that poor countries are suffering from food scarcity and inadequacy of clean water at 1,5C and if the temperature rises to 2C, that would have deadly consequences . This arguement seems realistic since, in last decades scarcity has become a bigger problem to world, even though it always been there. Something (be specific with what you state and try to avoid "something" as it is vague in meaning)must have affected the temperature because the scarcity has triggered by something (be specific with what you state and try to avoid "something" as it is vague in meaning) suddenly. Besides, Watts (2018) he supports that "the greatest difference would be to nature" (p.?) (the quotation does not make any point clear - what is the greatest difference?), at that point he has not only a right İdea / point of view side but also wrong İdea / point of view side. For instance, he gave the examples about the corals which got damaged by acidity and lower levels of oxygen. He is quite convincing about the corals because we see lots of news or documentaries on TV's which are about the causes of climate change cing. On the other hand, he seems to have forgotten that climate chance has some good effects to environment. To illustrate, it helps the crops to grow faster. Moreover, what we all know from our high school biology lessons is that plants use CO2 to make photosynthsis in order to generate oxygen and nutrition. In short,like Watts, I believe that unless people do something, nothing will changce and more suffer will surround mankind.

In the final analysis, while Watts believes that climate change cing has only bad consequences, I take the view that it has both good and bad effects on the  to world and humanity. Even though there are the good examples and some convincing datas which are in the text, the article is not sufficient for people to be knowledgeable about climate chance's effects.  However, (,but ... / . However, ... Both linkers mean the same, but their punctuation use is different) But I recommend this article because there is some specific (information is an uncountable noun) informations about the temperature.

Watts can't think now it's very miserable at he current level of 1C warming what happens when it comes to 3C warming (there are too many details, summaries should be concise. Here have a final statement that wraps up the summary).

The author states that best solution for carbon pollution is reforestation. I agree (informal - the writer has a reasonable solution) with the author because forests are the biggest producers of oxygen and they are it is very helpful to annihilate the carbon pollution. The author suggests and highlights that "Reforestation is essential to all of them as are shifts to electric support system. In addition, carbon pollution would have to be cut by %45 by 2030".
Buying seeds and planting the seeds are is easy. Seeds are not that expensive, they are it's very cheap actually. Anyone can buy and plant the seeds to reduce carbon pollution.
Reforestation seems like a better solution for carbon pollution because it's affordable and feasible. (You need to refer to a second idea or example to have a more convincing summary response paper.)

In short, I strongly agree with the Watts's ideas. We don't need to look far to find a solution, we have a cheap and achievable solution in front of us, Reforestation. (good points, but you can work on having a more academic tone.)

In your summary, you should be less wordy and organize supporting better using linkers and reporting verbs.

He has a quite reasonable argument because climate change is a significant issue for  the whole world and  the author supports this important issue with proportions and reports is convincing for readers (this sentence does not add up to meaning, make clear what is significant?) However , I believe that he author should give more striking examples to convince the reader (be specific which examples are not convincing and why?, although the subject is very important. For example, the seasons are not the same as before. Winters are not even snowing (check grammar here) or summers are very hot. If the author gave more examples of this those who read it would be more influenced by writing, so they could have a stronger reason to take action (be specific which ideas should be mentioned?). I believe (informal) the IPCC's research is very accurate, but I do not think that some solutions are feasible. Because according to the IPCC, the reforestation and electrical transport system will prevent us from reaching the dangerous temperature ratio.However, in Turkey, the country where I live, which is very difficult to  market hem. If we consider the issue of afforestation, construction in too much Turkey and while this construction is already being destroyed and many trees does not do anything to stop it (language hinders with meaning). Because, the only thing many of these construction companies are considering is '' money ''. On the other hand, if we evaluate the electrical transport system solution is another problematic solution for Turkey such as hybrid cars. Due to the fact that hybrid cars are very expensive because they produce new (language hinders meaning) and the number of people that can get this car in Turkey is very low because most people's income is not enough even to buy a normal car. J(2018,October 8) draws readers' attention to what happens if we don't restrict temperature change to between 1.5C and 2C (you need to state the writer's suggestion / recommendation / solution). The author starts off by indicating the report which was released by Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change(IPCC) .The report states that we need imminent changes that are going to address the issues that affect climate. IPCC points out that if we don't take the measures there will be drought,poverty,extreme heat and so on.Currently the world is already above 1C than its preindustrial levels and from now on if we don't restrict it to between 1.5C and 2C, (do not go into detail) the outcomes will be disastrous.even half calcius can make huge difference.As an example,according to the report, at 1.5C, the proportion of the global population exposed to water stress could be 50% lower than at 2C (do not go into detail).There are two propositions to combat those problems.First one is reforestation and the other is cutting carbon pollution by 45%.The author concludes by stressing that the outcomes will be devastating if we  (informal - passive voice can help to adopt a more formal tone - if measures are not taken) don't take the measures.B,but he's also positive that this report will make people take climate change more seriously.
