I used both wood and MDF. I was inspired by the story of jack and the bean stalk as I loved the illustrations in the book and  tried to show that in the piece of work. We then had to choose an item or accessory to wear. I chose to make wings, on these wings there will be war photography. I chose to do this because there is a legend that at the battle of Mons in WW1 there was a mass hallucination of an angel coming to help the soilders, when I heard this story it gave me chills and inspired me to do my project based on it. On the left hand side it’s was materials I might want to use in the end product, such as the metal wire which is the only material I ended up using from that page in the final piece. It shows pictures that I have taken and that I have been inspired by. One of my main inspirations for the wings was the “big picnic” theatre production that my mum was in, it had the angel on mons in it. The top is my wings inspiration, it includes a description of what the angel of mons was and a few pictures related to it.
