During this time, I was at a very low point of my life, having a desire to do nothing. Spending time with Katherine and just being a kid reminded me of how I want to spend the rest of my life: in happiness. The whole week was filled with endless excitement and spontaneous trips to the beach. Currently I am about a month into school and I can't thank my parents enough for giving me the opportunity to switch schools. Coming to FSHA was a new beginning for me, a chance for me to reinvent myself and I am forever grateful for that opportunity. This trip was by far the highlight of my summer. It was filled with endless laughter and so many memories that I will remember forever. The number one thing that I took out of this trip was how close all of my cousins and I got. We were all so excited and were all on a great winning streak. The day finally came and we were all so nervous stepping onto the court. We were playing Chaminade, who also were on a great winning streak. My doubles partner and I were battling every shot perfectly structured for the ball to be out of the opponents reach. It came down to a final score of 6-6, which meant we had to play a tie breaker. At this point all of our singles had won, but we were loosing with our doubles. This match would determine if we won or not. The score was 6-5 us, and I was serving. I toss the ball up high like my coach says and spin the ball so then it is out of the opponents reach. Ace. All I remember in that moment was a great sigh of relief that the match was over, and we had won!
