Chlamydia - I Want To Be A Mommy. So about three months ago I got a phone call from my former boyfriend telling me how he tested positive for chlamydia, worst phone call I have ever in my life have ever gotten, I obviously went to go get tested and came out positive, of course I cried for days, I was upset at him, the situation, and myself for not being more responsible for my body and protecting my body...in which I never did because I thought he could never have been stupid himself because of his fine attire, well I was wrong, and sorry. Months have past, and I'm cured now but still am very stressed due to the fact that having a child is going to be very difficult now, I have gotten tested by doctors and was told that my tubes look fine, but I don't feel fine, I'm still upset and worried, and I don't want to go thru A lapropic surgery i'm too young, and don't like anaesthesia, he just told me to just try on my own, i feel so cheated and torn apart, this is depressing has any body every experienced this and was still able to conceive? I caught it somewhat in less then a year, but am extremely worried...

You need to tell all sex partner(s) who may have been exposed. Try to get them to get tested. If you feel that you can’t tell your partner(s), talk to your health care provider. He/she will help you to tell your partner(s) or will help you find another way to let your partner(s) know he/she has been exposed. You and your current sexual partner(s) need to get treated at the same time to prevent passing the infection back and forth. Make sure you follow your health care provider’s directions on taking medication, and make sure you finish all of the medicine, even if you feel better. Schedule a follow-up exam with your health care provider after you’ve finished treatment. Don’t have sex again until your health care provider says you’re cured. If you’re concerned or upset about having an STI, think about getting counseling. Your health care provider can help you find a counselor.

Gonorrhea - Gonorrhea Can Be A Death Sentence Gonorrhea can not always be cured with antibiotics as they want you to believe. If antibiotics are used several times to treat the disease it can be suppressed to where it goes deeply into the body to where std testing can no longer detect it but you still have it. So now you think you no longer have it you continue your old ways and keep giving it to others without knowing that you have it. Once you know you have gonorrhea find a good homeopathic doctor that has dealt with the disease and let him or her treat you. Gonorrhea can cause death when your test come back negative so please don't continue to make old mistakes and have sex with several other people. It will kill you!!! I know because I am there as I write this to whoever is wise enough to listen. I have suppressed gonorrhea and am dying. It is not something I would wish on my worse enemy. Thank God I don't have any enemies. Now I put my life into Gods hands.

Syphilis- One book had pages and pages of pictures of sores caused by syphilis. I also read about the stages of syphilis. I became obsessed with syphilis. I was also obsessed with Al Capone, who died of complications from syphilis.
One day, I noticed a strange looking sore, about an inch below my navel. It was quite large, about the size of a quarter. It did not take me long to realize that I HAD THE SYPHILIS!
I did not know what to do...I could not tell my mother. So I did what any young man would do...I went to a phone booth (in case my phone was tapped), and called my best friend Mike. I screamed into the phone... I GOT THE SYPHILIS!

Genital Herpes- I was 18 at the time, and it started with one little bump on my genital area. It went from that, to numerous bumps, it hurt, and i didn’t know what to do. I was super sick, like pneumonia sick. I went to the doctor and they said i was positive for type 2. Honestly, I don’t know who I got it from, but it doesn’t make a difference, I have it either way.
I was in shock, i thought it was the end of the world, which was the worst feeling I’ve almost ever felt.
I love life, and the only thing i wanted in life was to be loved, and have someone that just wants me forever. With a dream like that, herpes is like…..
Dreaming of being a pilot, but then losing your eye sight.

Hepatitis B - When Helen Kane and her husband adopted their daughter in China, they knew nothing about hepatitis B. They certainly never imagined that their beautiful new baby could have hepatitis B. And they had no idea that their future would be filled with hospital visits, blood tests, and a paralyzing fear of losing their child to this unknown liver infection. Among the most difficult challenges they would ultimately face was whether to treat their child with a potent drug called interferon that required three painful injections each week and promised a lackluster 30 percent chance of success. This was a decision the Kanes, a middle-classprofessional couple who live outside Washington D.C., never thought they’d be making when they adopted 10-month-old Morgan. In China, their daughter had tested negative for hepatitis B, so the couple assumed she would be free of the virus that has infected 60 percent of the Chinese population and chronically infects 10 percent.
Shortly after they returned home, Morgan was retested for hepatitis B, as recommended for all international adopters. A week later, a nurse called with the results. “I remember that call clearly,” Helen said. “I was at an outdoor restaurant having a cup of coffee with Morgan in her stroller when my cell phone rang. The nurse told me Morgan had a ‘touch’ of hepatitis. I got off of the phone and started crying. I called my husband, but it was too difficult to explain to him over the phone.” With that phone call, the family’s life was turned upside down.
