It´s always been in our bucket list to travel to some far-off destination. So we decided to go to london, but unfortunally on the plane we experienced a ton of torbulence, so we had to stop in barcelona.

Since we didn´t have a reservation in any hotel, we had to set up camp for the night, while waiting for the plane, and with that we were going crazy.

Whem we had back to the other plane, we were luchy enough and arrived safely in london.

On the next day, we explored London and them we chatered a boat to go island-hopping through Scotland, Wales, and Irland. In the beggining of our boat trip, Maria was pushed out of the boat by other tourist, becouse of her reflexes she pulled him with her, so both of them fell into the sea. Both were rescued when we made a rope a rope from scratch and we pulled them back into the boat.

Whem we pull into Irlend port, we rented a hotel wich had a tan of amenities and then we went to experience a night in the famous irish bars.

In the last day, we headed back to London and visited some museuns, and later we catch a flight back to our lovely country.

Nadia Murad Basee Taha (born 1993) is a Yazidi human rights activist and a Nobel piece prize from Kocho, in Iraq. She is best known for her work advocating for survivors of sexual violence and for justice for the yazidi people, following the genocide committed by islamic state (ISIS) against her community.

In 2014, when ISIS attacked her village, thousands of Yazidis were killed, and many women, including Nadia, were taken captive and subjected to sexual slavery. She managed to escape after three months and later began speaking publicly about the atrocities committed against her community. Since then, Nadia has become a global advocate for survivors of sexual violence and for justice for the Yazidi people.

In 2018, Nadia Murad was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize, together with Dr. Denis Mukwege, for their efforts to end sexual violence as a weapon of war. She is also the author of the book “The Last Girl: My Story of Captivity, and My Fight Against the Islamic State.”

If I were invited to participate in a European council, to contribute to the poster that is being analyzed, I would talk about wars.

Currently, there are wars happening all the time. Some are more famous than others, for example, the war between Ukraine and Russia, which is the most talked about, and the war in Sudan, about which, personally, I don't see many people commenting.

Therefore, I would say that we need to address something related to the wars that are happening now. We need to stop them with our words, actions, and help, even if it's not much. People are dying, soldiers are giving their lives to save their countries, and others are forced to participate in these conflicts. We must spread more news and information so that more people can help the innocent victims of these wars.

But the story I was reading was "strident," Solomon Northup's words were a roar of sadness. The final chapter was a blessing for Northup and for the readers, as he finally got the ending he deserved.

«Our journey home took several days.

As a Portuguese person, the film "Unorthodox" was truly shocking in some parts. Esty doesn't have the same freedom as me because of the community she belongs to, and personally, I wouldn't want to follow the rules of that community.

Esty belongs to an ultra-Orthodox community and is only 19 years old. At that age, she is already married, not because she truly wanted to be, but because she had an arranged marriage with Yanky. And that's one of the things that shocked me the most. In my culture, we marry whomever we love. Although I see arranged marriages frequently in Gypsy culture, a very famous but quite restricted culture in Portugal, it still shocks me to see young people unable to choose the people they want to love for the rest of their lives.

The pressure people exert in Esty to get pregnant makes me uncomfortable, because in Portuguese culture, even in the most traditional families, couples can make that decision without being pressured, and not as an obligation; it's always a personal decision.

In conclusion, the clothing and style worn in the community are truly unique, including the hairstyles. For example, women wear only long skirts and discreet colors, and men generally dress similarly, in suits and with curly hair. This is not common in Portugal.

1. Freedom of Movement (Article 13 – Universal Declaration of Human Rights)
In episode 3, Moishe travels to Berlin to find Esty and pressures her to return to the ultra-Orthodox community. Although Esty has left voluntarily, the intimidation and emotional pressure placed on her restrict her ability to move freely and decide where she wants to live.

2. Right to Free and Full Consent to Marriage (Article 16 – Universal Declaration of Human Rights)
Episode 3 reveals that Esty’s marriage was arranged and that she had very limited knowledge and choice regarding marriage and her role as a wife.

In «Unorthodox», culture shock plays an important role in the characters’ lives, especially for those who leave Williamsburg. The scene in which Esty eats ham in Germany shows how deeply her religious culture is rooted in her identity, causing distress when she breaks its rules. This moment highlights how cultural shock can reveal suffering. Esty and her mother can be seen as victims who choose to leave their community to escape that pain.

The Nobel Peace Prize 26

The Nobel Peace Prize 2 will be given to a person or organization that has contributed significantly to promoting peace. Although official nominations are secret for 50 years, some candidates are publicly known. For 2026, there were about 338 nominations, including individuals and organizations such as Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Francesca Albanese, and Doctors Without Borders. The nomination deadline was January 31, 2026, and the winner will be announced in October 2026.

Doctors Without Borders, also known as Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF), is an international medical organization that provides emergency aid to people affected by wars, disasters, and epidemics. They work in some of the most dangerous areas in the world, helping anyone in need, no matter their nationality, religion, or political views.

Doctors Without Borders is recognized for saving lives and reducing suffering, often in extreme situations. They also raise awareness about crises and encourage global action to protect vulnerable people.

In my opinion, Doctors Without Borders deserves the Nobel Peace Prize because their work has a real and direct impact on people’s lives. By saving lives and promoting human dignity, they contribute to peace and hope in the most difficult situations.

One of the most influential personalities of the 20th century was Elvis Presley. He was born on January 8, 1935, in Tupelo, Mississippi, USA. Elvis became known as the “King of Rock and Roll” because of his unique voice, energetic performances, and original music style.

Elvis achieved great success in music and cinema. Some of his most famous songs are Jailhouse Rock, Can’t Help Falling in Love, and Love Me Tender. He sold millions of records around the world and starred in many popular movies. His music mixed different styles such as country, blues, and gospel, creating a new sound that changed modern music forever.

At that time, Elvis had a huge impact on society. He helped popularize rock and roll among young people and influenced fashion, dance, and culture. Many teenagers admired his style and attitude, which represented freedom and change. Elvis also helped break racial barriers in music because he brought African American musical influences to a wider audience during a period of segregation in the United States.

Today, Elvis Presley is still remembered as a music legend whose influence continues to inspire artists and fans all over the world.

Before Sunrise is a 1990s film, released in 1994. I saw the film once, and i love it!

It's a simple film, with a lot of dialogue, but when i hear the stories and conversations, I get super interested for what the protagonists will talk about or what they will do next.

This film talks about Celine, a young french woman, that mets Ethan, an American guy on a train to Vienna. Ethan took the train because he was catching a flight to USA in a few hours, while Celina was on her way to France, as she studies at the Sorbonne University and lives there.

They start talking on the train, and when it's time for Ethan to leave, he asks Celine if she would like to spend the day with him in Vienna, since he still has a few hours before his flight. She accepted, and within a few hours, they already knew each other very well and had even fallen in love. When it was time for Ethan's flight, they said goodbye, but promised each other that they would meet again in 6 months, at the same time, in the same place and in the same city. Yes, they reunite in the rest of the trilogy, in the two films "Before Sunset" and "Before Midnight".

I can say with certainty that it's one of my favorite films and one that comforts me. As I said, it's a simple film, but with dialogues that touch the heart. In my opinion, I like this film for its simplicity, the amount of dialogue, and what it evokes. This film is so comforting that it manages to warm our hearts with its stories and actions.
