This game was a lot of fun and stressful. The first time we played we got to 39. We played with 3 people. We didn’t really help each other out with finding the numbers if they weren’t our own. Next time we will help each other to speed up our pace. If we wanted to speed up the pace some more we would also use highlighters or dobbers, we would also sit at a different table so everyone can see the paper equally or have everyone have their own paper/screen. I really enjoyed this game and plan on making my own game with the numbers to 30 to play with the TK/Kindergarten classroom.

Kim’s thoughts...
The 100’s game was actually fun! I found myself getting competitive wanting to do better and quicker each time. We played with 3 players, I wonder if playing with 2 or 4 players would have changed the outcome? Some strategies that I think would help out would be if everyone helped out with looking for their partners or teammates numbers so they were located easily. I also think separate papers would make it go quicker possibly by not having to look sideways or upside down. We used colored pencils to color in our squares and I think that using highlighters or marker s or dobbers would make the game go even quicker because we wouldn’t have to spend time actually coloring. I think this is a very fun and engaging math game and i would love to find one appropriate for kindergarten and use it in my class. Maybe one that goes to 30 or 40 would be appropriate for my class! I am going to look into it!!
