         <description><![CDATA[<div>When an athlete looses the ability to properly grip a stick, shooting or throwing will become more difficult. As the athlete goes to shoot, they will be unable to stabilize their shot with the supporting hand on the stick.  This leads to improper mechanics and can possibly result in other injuries to the extremity.</div>]]></description>

For example loss of grip strength can lead to carpal tunnel syndrome, which can lead to an elbow injury such as tennis or little leaguer's elbow which can lead to SICK scapula from over using and weakening of the serratus anterior muscles.</div>]]></description>
