When someone starts living in a new country, cultural integration is both inevitable and essential in order to be able to properly adjust to the lifestyle of that new country. While people should definitely retain the roots and traditions of their native culture, I believe that adopting the foreign country’s customs to a certain extent makes for an overall better experience in terms of self integration, relationships and growth.

To start off, a person’s cultural roots are incredibly important to their relationship with their family, friends and an integral part of their identity. Thus, forcing people to follow a new cultural norm can be a cause for cultural shock that can lead to homesickness, isolation or an unstable sense of identity. This can be seen in many first generation immigrants, as some members of the Asian American community has spoke about: the feeling of shame when they brought kimchi or spicy chicken to lunch time when everyone else were carrying lunchables and peanut butter sandwiches, the isolation and dysphoria as they try their best to appeal to the beauty standard of the country they moved in, which was predominantly white all of which that caused them to grow more distant to such an important part of themselves. The concept that people should follow all the traditions and abide by all the cultural norms of the country they started living in can be the cause for hatred towards things seen as unfamiliar, which is why I don’t think people should adopt to all the cultural standards of their new country.

However, I think that by taking in the culture, or at least respecting and making an effort to learn more about the culture of the place they move to, a person’s worldview can be significantly broadened and their life would be easier. This is because if one can adapt to certain social norms, their relationships with people of that country can be more positive: for example, moving to Japan, if one can learn to find value in the polite and reserved nature of the culture, they will be able to create a better image in the eyes of their employees by properly bowing or greeting. Taking in culture also allows for a wider range of experiences. The act of visiting shrines in Asian countries is a culturally rich practice carried out in a variety of festivals and occasions. If, for example, a westerner can learn to take off their shoes before going into temples, dressing appropriately and appreciating the culture, they would be much more knowledgeable. Cultural integration is important to relationships and to a person’s own sense of belonging.

To conclude, I believe that cultural integration is necessary and should be encouraged when someone moves to a new country, but I also think this should be done to an extent that does not erase a person’s own cultural identity in order to have a fulfilling life in a foreign country.

Every year, numerous people depart from their previous country to migrate to another one due to a variety of reasons. This essay explores the cultural and economic benefits and drawbacks this phenomenon brings to both the migrants and the country being migrated into.

On the one hand, human migration can help bring cultural diversity and reduce unemployment for society. Firstly, migrants entering the country often result in new culture, traditions and cuisines being established. For instance, Chinese chef immigrants can introduce their country's traditional cuisine to new demographics. Not only can the chef immigrants establish their own job and restaurant, many people around it are able to to try out new cultures without having to spend their money and resources into travelling. Secondly, new migrants often satisfy economic employment demands of that country, and can even help increase more demands, such as the chinese restaurant may demand for waiters, other chefs, managers… allowing stability in the society jobs economy.

On the other hand, introduction of new culture and ideologies could clash with existing one, leading to individuals not able to blend themself easily with society. These people often experience homesickness, lack of social interactions as it is hard for them to fit in.

To conclude, migrants can bring new cultural diversity and economic benefits like more employment to the country, however the same introduction of cultures can lead to disagreement and segregation if the society does not embrace it.

Every year many people choose to move to different countries for their own reason. I believe that even though migration does bring benefits to the individual and society as a whole it also has some drawbacks.

One major benefit of moving to another country is that more job opportunities will open up for the individual. If they used to live in a place with limited jobs to choose from then migrating will allow them to develop their full potential in terms of work. By getting a better job these people will be able to succeed further in life and live happily. Migration could also be advantageous for society as a whole. With more and more people moving to different countries every year our society has more chances to learn about cultures all around the world. This could bring the community closer together and create world peace.

Even though the benefits of migration are great there are also some drawbacks. Individuals migrating could be faced with cultural shock which might make it hard for them to fit in. The people who choose to move have to adjust their life in order to live in a new place. If they can’t do so then they might be isolated from everyone else which will make them feel lonely and depressed. In addition, migration could also cause many people to lose their cultural identity. They need to learn and adapt to a different culture which might result in them forgetting about their own country’s customs and beliefs.

In conclusion, I believe that migration brings many benefits like more job opportunities and a better understanding of different cultures, there are also great drawbacks like facing culture shock and losing one’s cultural identity.

As the process of globalisation continues in our world, a lot of people migrate to another country, due to either financial reasons, living conditions, etc. Usually, migrating to another country is beneficial, however, it can also have negative effects on both the individual who had migrated, and society as a whole.

One of the advantages of moving to another country is it allows people to have a living condition that is suitable for those individuals. This can be especially beneficial for those who are unable to keep up with the way of living certain countries have. For example, countries like Japan have been known for its toxic work culture, and extremely high standards. This culture can heavily affect their motivation and their well-being, and they might not be able to live the most of their life. By migrating to another country that doesn’t have such a culture (such as Finland, Sweden, etc), people may no longer have to deal with such problems, which significantly benefits their health, and also allows them to seek new opportunities in the country they have migrated to.

Even though living in another country can be advantageous to some people, a very large wave of people migrating away from a country can be problematic. This is because when such events happen, the country has much fewer people that can be employed, affecting the country’s economy. The shrinking labour force can cause living costs to rise, from food, housing, electronic devices, etc, and it negatively affects anyone who is living in the country. If this is coupled with living conditions not improving, the migration wave might get even larger, triggering a feedback loop.

In conclusion, migrating to another country can give people a new way of life that they might prefer over their home country. However, if the migration wave gets too large, it can negatively affect that country.

Humans travel around the world for various reasons, some study abroad, some migrate for work and some just want a breath of fresh air. Certain individuals believe immigrants should adapt to the culture and regulations of their new home country, and from my view, I strongly agree with this point because of the benefits that will be explored in the essay below.

On one hand, one way to immerse yourself into a new community is to understand the locals’ actions and traditions. Citizens of different countries all have their own customs, whether it’s annual festivals, or traditional dresses and clothes, or even something simple as manners on the dinner table. By getting to know these cultural differences, one can live comfortably and make friends even in new places, which helps them a lot socially and have a stable mentality. For instance, in Japan you need to say thanks before and after the meal in order to show appreciation for the food.

On the other hand, learning about the beliefs and policies in a new living area would prevent unprecedented accidents from happening. If a person doesn’t have pre-existing knowledge when moving to a different country, they might violate rules that weren’t present in their hometown. In addition, being aware of these laws or customs will help reduce the culture shock the first time an individual arrives at a new nation. An example of this is bubblegum is banned in Singapore, so foreigners may be surprised if they suddenly get confiscated of their treat in Singapore.

In summary, migrants should adhere to the cultural traditions or laws when living in a foreign nation. This would contribute to preventing culture shocks, avoiding accidents and can encourage people to make friends with the locals more easily.

In this generation, there are many people who chose the option to live abroad, away from their homeland. In order to be accustomed to their new country, they have to understand their culture and mannerism. Unfortunately, many times people tend to forget their motherland culture as they’re exploring a new lifestyle in a foreign country. It’s important to follow customs and traditions when living in a new country to show respect, but people shouldn’t completely throw out the traditions that has already been deeply rooted in them from their home country.

Before travelling to a new country, there’re many precautions that should be taken. It is ideal to study about their culture so that once you reach that place, it is easier to blend in with society. Not having knowledge of how things work there may cause major disruptions in your life and can make the experience unenjoyable. By following customs and traditions there, it will be easier for individuals to make new friends and widen their circle, thus making your stay more worthwhile. Understanding and practising traditions of the country you’re staying at is also a form of respect. If the locals there feel like they are respected by you, they would be more receptive to helping you navigate your way around a foreign country.

When living in a new country, it is also important to keep in mind that you should continue practising the culture and traditions of your home country. You should live a balanced life to get the best of both worlds. In a time when people are so eager to move and live abroad, it may be difficult to maintain a healthy and balanced lifestyle between two or more different cultures. Unfortunately, losing your traditions can mean losing your identity, which will lead to you being out of touch with your friends and family from back home. While learning and practising a new culture is a sign of respect in a new country, the same could be applied to your own traditions. Remembering your roots and being able to teach others about your country should be a quality that everyone possesses. It shows that you’re proud of the culture and how you were brought up and it is how you show respect to the place that raised you up.

In conclusion, while it’s important to be educated on another culture of your desired living area, you should still maintain your roots and practise your own tradition. Both will greatly impact your life as a whole as well as build character and open up your mind. When settling down to a new country, each individual should learn to live a balanced life, taking in new traditions and mannerism but also keeping their own tradition alive.

The number of people who actually migrate from one area to another has been steadily growing during the previous century. Although this may be advantageous to both people and communities, it has resulted in societal overpopulation. This essay will go further into the benefits and drawbacks of this migration.

One of the most significant benefits of relocating to another country is the advancement of the country's economy and environment. This is owing to the fact that most nations that welcome migrants provide such chances for highly trained labor, which improves the nation's economic standard. They employ people who are skilled in certain professional jobs, for example, which will benefit society. Also, a substantial percentage of people relocate to another city because they feel there is a higher grade of education available there that they could not get in their previous place. As a result, it is considered as a better offer and a chance to mingle with individuals from other cultures.

On the one hand, relocating to another county may result in overpopulation in the new location. Because of their high level of life, the majority of people wish to relocate to a developed area. They feel that there are chances to obtain a well-paying career. Furthermore, driven by poverty in their own country, many people risk their lives being smuggled illegally into wealthy countries. Unfortunately, there is little international regulation, which could have dire consequences for the safety of people. A good illustration is the Essex lorry deaths of 39 migrants from Vietnam to the UK in 2019. Finally, there is a significant increase in the number of people migrating, which can lead to congestion that can lead to rising in pollution.

In conclusion, while migration may be an important and good move in a territory's and individual's life, it can also have some negative effects. Because of the gains gained from effective migration through the province's increased economic growth, the advantage considerably outweighs the negatives.

Many migrants nowadays go from one region to another for a variety of reasons, such as seeking new employment or residing in other nations in the hopes of starting a new life there. It is also considered that relocating individuals from one location to another has its own set of benefits and drawbacks.

It can be claimed that migration has certain good consequences on individuals and the community as a whole. The key advantages are that individuals can discover new occupations outside of their current location because other areas have progressed more than their current location. It also provides a good quantity of money and better living conditions, since the previous location did not provide them with enough money to pay for their lives, thus electing to migrate to another country is advantageous for them. Another rationale is that it would be in the community's best interests. Some countries have a large population, resulting in people having no place to reside and many others losing their jobs when factories or other areas become overcrowded.

Despite the advantages, there are a number of disadvantages when it comes to people migrating from one country to another. The most significant disadvantage of migrating is that some persons lack a government-issued licence or permission to go to different locations. This results in a large number of people trespassing into other nations in search of a fresh life, or in criminals escaping to other locations to engage in illegal activities such as drug trafficking.

In conclusion, it is worth considering that there are both advantages and disadvantages of people migrating to other places. But now a lot of country have developed to change the old operation for their citizen a better living conditions.

Nowadays, the amount of people who decide to live in a foreign country is increasing, and citizens believe that people should adhere to local customs and traditions. This has created a controversy for many people, but in my opinion, I agree with this statement.

On the one hand, there are many benefits for foreigners when they follow the customs. Firstly, it will help them adapt with residents easier. For example, in some traditional events like Tet, if the denizen understands the habit and chooses the suitable uniform like Ao Dai, they will earn the admiration from the local people. Secondly, when visitors learn a new language and culture, it helps them to communicate with the local people. For instance, understanding is one of the key features that help foreigners to know what happened recently in the country, which helps them to make decisions for the future.

On the other hand, there are many disadvantages of not learning the culture. Firstly, there are many issues of lack of cultural awareness. For example, in some countries like Singapore, chewing gum is illegal, so if the visitors don’t know about this, it will cost them a lot of money. Secondly, if you don’t know the culture, your performance in work or school may be bad. Like some countries in Asia, students need to work very very hard, so overseas students will get culture shocks that lead to their health problems.

Overall, learning culture is very important when moving to a new nation, so foreigners should research it before travelling to the new countries.
