Group name = Brainiacs

The Gestalt law of proximity states that "objects or shapes that are close to one another appear to form groups". Even if the shapes, sizes, and objects are radically different, they will appear as a group if they are close together. Also called "grouping," the principle concerns the effect generated when the collective presence of the set of elements becomes more meaningful than their presence as separate elements. The most common procedure for minimizing proximity is to have several different forms of the rating scale, with the items in a different order on each form. Unfortunately, when the number of items becomes large, systematic control over Item order becomes extremely complex and difficult in most practical situations. So, from the visual perceptual processes, the proximity can influence the performance appraisal of others.

1. Muhammad Faris bin Ismail 137313

2.

One of the visual perception processes that we choose to relate to performance appraisal is Schema. Schema is a process of adapting to the environment .As experiences happen and new information is presented, new schemas are developed and old schemas are changed. So,after supervisor has done performance appraisal with their employees, they know about their current self as well as the ideas to improve themselves. The employees learned through the feedback, their existing schema or weaknesss are modified and new information is learned. This is call as self-schema,which is focused on your knowledge about yourself.
Members
1.Aida Saffa Binti Ahmad Azni 128417
2.Muhamad Nasrul Izad Bin Ghazali 137309
3.Vindhya a/p Shanmugam 137420
4.Mohamad Yusri Bin Mohd Da'ai 137301
5.Wee Sew Hann 137423
6.Siti Aqilah Binti Mokhtar 140252

One of the visual perceptional process that we choose is perceptual schema. This perceptual schema in order to organize impressions of people based on their appearance, social roles, interaction, or other traits. These schema then influence how we perceive other things in the world. These schema are the knowledge or shortcuts that save time and effort on computation. For an example, you might to do some task that had been given by managers. Managers will make some assessment according to your appearance and social roles among other employees. This perceptual schema learned the employees to existing the weakness with the new information.

1. Mohamad Taufiq bin Marsyadi 137300

2.
