Belief in Prophet

1. Belief in the prophets is the fourth pillar of faith in Islam. Muslims believe that Allah sent prophets to guide humanity, delivering His messages to people at different points in history.

Prophet Muhammad serves as a role model for us, being a living example of how to practice faith in daily life. Prophet Adam taught humanity to worship only one God. Prophet Muhammad was given the miracle of the Quran.

Why is the Sunnah necessary? It helps us understand the Quran more deeply because the Quran is in the language of Allah, and Prophet Muhammad acted as the medium through whom Allah conveyed His guidance to humanity.

Belief in the Judgement Day

2. Belief in the Day of Judgment is the fifth pillar of faith. Muslims believe that all humans will be resurrected after death and judged by Allah for their actions in this life.

The Day of Judgment will certainly happen, though no one knows its exact timing. However, we can observe it through major signs. On that day, deeds will be weighed, and Allah will judge everyone based on their good and bad deeds.

The judgment made by Allah will be the fairest and most just. This belief serves as a reminder that everyone is accountable for all the actions they do in their life.

Belief in Qada' & Qadar

3. Belief in Qada and Qadar means believing that everything that happens in life, both good and bad, is part of Allah's divine will and plan. This pillar acknowledges that Allah has complete knowledge of everything and has preordained what will happen in the universe.

Qada refers to something definite and guaranteed by Allah, such as the date of death, a person's destined spouse, and the time we are brought into this world.

Qadar refers to things that can change, such as exam results (e.g., SPM) or whether we succeed in an interview.

Throughout this usrah, we have implemented various activities such as interactive discussions, Q&A sessions, sharing personal experiences, using visual aids, and engaging in group activities. These have made our sessions more engaging and insightful. In my opinion, it would be helpful if the naqibah could send out the agenda beforehand so everyone knows what to expect. Overall, I’ve really enjoyed this usrah, and it’s been a valuable experience! And also a big thanks to our naqibah, Sr. Adani, for sharing valuable knowledge and putting in so much effort to conduct these usrah sessions. Your dedication and guidance have made a significant impact on all of us 🫶🏻!
