Never in a million years did I ever imagine becoming an educator. Never in a million years did I ever imagine falling in love with teaching. In the summer of 2016, I accepted an English teaching position at Sierra Linda High School and absolutely fell in love with it. I was in the process of trying to obtain an emergency teaching certification in the state of Arizona. However, due to health issues, I transitioned as an instructional assistant. I enjoy being an assistant, but deciding to leave teaching was the worst professional devision of my life... even if it was at the advice of my doctors.
