         <description><![CDATA[<p>Hannah Sznes was born on July 17th, 1921 in Hungary. She was the daughter of a poet and an author, which influenced her to also write as she grew older. She wrote poems and kept a diary and wrote songs and poetry for about ten years before her death.</p>]]></description>

Throughout the torture she went through, Hannah never gave out any valuable information, which exemplified her courage to resist. She was told she could either plead mercy, or, be executed. In the end, she made the decision to be executed.</p>]]></description>
