St Patrick is the Saint patron of Ireland, his festival, of religious origin, is celebrated every 17th of March

St Patrick, although his real name is maewyn Succat, was captured and sold in Ireland, in the 5th century, at the age of 16, but in France he became a priest and finally returned to Ireland at the age of 46. His festival began to be celebrated in 1903. It has spread to countries like Australia, Canada or the USA.

In addition to these typical things, there are parades, concerts or open-air theaters with fireworks. Everything is decorated in green, due to the color of the shamrocks, making it almost mandatory to wear a green garment. And obviously, that day they drink a lot of beer.
Another typical event is to go on a pilgrimage to Saint Patrick's Purgatory.

In conclusion, if you want to know a Dublin party, get into its bars and it's fun, and be one more Irish, being in Dublin for St Patrick could be a very fun plan.

DAY OF THE DEAD

The day of the dead is a holiday traditionally celebrated on November 1st and 2nd. A lot of people celebrate it but it is from Mexico, where it is mostly observed.

The origin of this tradition goes back to pre-Hispanic times, when indigenous communities kept the skulls of the disappeared and used them for rituals in which death was honored.
On this day, families create offerings to honor their family members that have death. They decorate them with bright colors, photos, flowers and food too! But the next day is the most important, Nowadays, people gather together, dressed up with Calavera and they paint their faces. Calaveras are drawn, take many forms...

From my point of view, it seems to me a very interesting and colourful party. I would love to see it some day.

"CANONAZO DE LAS 9"
The canonazo de las 9 is probably one of the most well-known festivals in Cuba,is not only for tourists also for the citizens. Its a tradition with more than 200 years and it takes place everyday since 1945 at 9 o'clock

The origin of this tradition, started in the 18th Century, at that time Cuba was near to a war and every morning the soldiers used to shoot blank bullets to announce that the doors of the city were going to be opened, at that time whole Habana was surrounded by a wall, a curious fact about it is that when the war started in 1942 until 1945 they didn't shoot any blank bullets because they thought that the enemy's could interpret that as a war threat.

In my opinion this celebration is unique, because I have never heard of any country doing a similar thing and if you go to La Havana(Cuba) you should go to see it for sure.😉

GREAT!

Is celebrate in Poland, Russia, Belorus, Ukraine, Moldova and Romania, frequentllly of July 6-7 of the Gregorian Calendar, being June 23-24 according to the calendar Orthodox Christianity, the Julian calendar. As for as the calendar is concerned, it is opposed to the festival of Koliada of the winter solstice.

Some scholards in mythology such as Sir James Frazer allage that the festival of Kupala was originally a pagan fertility rite later accepted within the cvalendar of Orthodox Christianity. There are equivalents where in other places the night of San Juan is celebrated on the summer solstice incluiding in Eastern Europe. According to Vasner, the name of this holiday combines the words (Ivan) the Slavic name for John the Baptist and (Bathing) - just like the fierst day of the year when the church approved of bathing and swimming rivers and ponds. The term Kupala also coincides with the tradition of Juan, baptizing people by completly submerging them in water, and also whit his title of baptizer.

The holiday is still enthusiastically celebreted among Russian youth.

Interesting information, but you should have included a conclusion, giving your personal opinion about the celebration.
