I learnt how to apply mathematics to address a range of economic problems in my economics class. For example, I've studied how to model supply and demand curves using linear algebra, how to compute marginal costs and benefits using calculus, and how to analyze risk using probability theory. Overall, I think mathematics is an important tool for understanding economics.
