I think their only should be exams for the main courses. For the people who follow science, that would be the science and mathematics subjects. For the people who follow economics of course economics and for the people who follow languages the languages. The other subjects such as history, esthetics and geography are less important in my opinion. But I understand that this is quite an arrangement to see which subject is important to whom. It is also difficult to allow all students to take exams and to follow the safety regulations.

I agree with Quirine. I also think that the main subjects should be given and especially the subjects of your own direction. I would find it a bit useless to make an exam of sciences as that is not my direction at all. As I do modern languages, it seems logical to me that I would have exams of the languages. I am convinced that this is not easy to arrange but it is the best solution for everyone. This way everyone can fully focus on the subjects that are important.

Hello!
What I want most of all, are no exams. The situation has turned out completely different and I find it difficult to process learning material this way. I agree with Emma and Quirine IF there are any exams. Our main courses are more important than other courses. We chose for a certain direction at school, I chose for modern languages economics, so its logic that I graduate with the languages and economics exam.

I don't feel like we're a narcissistic group in our society. I think some adults think this about us because of all the social media that has a big role in our lives. Especially now that we are sitting at home all the time, the social media plays an important role and helps us to keep in touch with our friends. In this way I would say that we might seem narcistic for some people but I don't think this is true.

I don't feel like we're that narcissistic. I do think that young people pay attention to what we look like and how we come over to others. Maybe we get influences from social media that show us the perfect beauty but I don't think we are really narcissistic. To answer the question, I don't really think the previous generation is narcissistic either. I don't think any generation is really narcissistic. What can be is that today's young people pay more attention to their appearance than the previous generation. The word immediately gives a negative sound and I don't notice that the narcissistic is there in our generation.

I also agree that people who take languages should get an exam of languages and so on. I also think it's important that health comes first, so it's safe. This means that the exams will be completely different.I also find it difficult, like Danae, to process the subject matter through online lessons and that's why I don't want big exams.

I don't feel like we're narcissistic. Maybe it seems that way because some people praise themselves so much on social media and want to show their best self on it. I don't find that disturbing, it's not narcissism, it's just a new generation with new habits. Narcissism is also a lack of empathy and I think this generation of young people has more empathy than ever. Jobs in the social sector are more exposed. This generation is more concerned about others, while older generations think more about themselves and usually just think and act out of self-interest.

I also agree with Quirine that the school exams should go through in June, because it's very important to have exams to finish our final year on the secondary school. I have that opinion because we're in the sixth year so it's not possible to hold it off till a next year. It is our intention to graduate ofcourse. The exams are very important for our further studies. In the coming years we will also have to be able to study large packs of study material and the exams prepare us for that. It's not gonna be easy to arrange this, so that's why I think we should only have exams of our main courses in our chosen direction.

In my opinion, the schools should organize exams in June. Especially in the last year of secondary school, I think it is important to have exams to receive our graduation. They can not just cancel the exams and base the results on what was delivered on the other two semesters. Students that worked hard all year long to have a good result at the end of the year, should have the chance to take the exams. So I also agree with Quirine, that they should give exams only for subjects that are important for our direction. Based on how the students excel in these exams, it can give a clear view for further studies. With the exams students can show their improvements and evolution they made from the beginning of the year until the end of the year.

I also don't think our generation is more narcissistic than in past generations. It often happens that when elder generations see what happens on social media they think that everyone is narcissistic. Yes, maybe some are narcissistic but that doesn't that mean everyone is. As Emma said, young adults pay more attention to their appearance than before. Paying more attention to your appearance doesn't mean that you're narcissistic. I just think that older generations put to fast labels on young adults.

I think our generation is actually more narcissistic than past generations. This is mostly because of social media. Kids play less outside with friends, instead they use more electronic devices such as ipads and smartphones to keep them occupied. This makes them more anti-social. Nowadays some kids use social media already on a young age and see videos and photos of people. They want to be like them and they sometimes try to change themselves, as a result that they become more narcissistic. Mostly those influencers give a wrong impression. Those young people see them as an example. Their parents have no idea what their kids get to see on social media. I think it's largely up to the education of the parents. But there are a lot of people who are definetly not narcissistic, so it doesn't mean that all young people are narcissistic.

I agree with Mitchella, I think that we are maybe more narcisststic than the older generations because of social media. But I think it's up to the parents to make sure their children have enough social contacts and play outside with their friends. This can be done, for example, by putting a limit on the use of social media or playing games on the computer or ipad. In this way, children will go out more and receive better social developments. When this is not done it can lead to narcissistic teenagers in some cases, but in my opinion these are rather the exceptions.
