Room Acoustics is how a surrounding affects a noise. For example, if a room is built up of very dense walls, floors such as tiles, metal etc. the noise will reflect very quickly. Then vice versa, if the room is built up of hollow walls and floors such as plastering, the noise will travel through them easier and not reflect. It also depends on how the room is shaped, which also affects the sound.
