Now, there are taxi, grab cab and Uber which we can also use to get around if the trains and buses are crowded. For younger users like some of my friends, it is also a way to learn to be independent and learn our way around without relying too much on our parents. I don't really use the public transport system as I have two cars and my parents bring me to school every day but I feel it is very useful to get to places like schools, malls and offices. If there is lesser people buying cars our country do not need to spend so much money on petrol as it is very expensive. Now, we do not need cars to bring as to all types of places but we have public transports to bring us to places that we want to go and it is very convenient. In my own experience, whenever i go to tuition, I will take either the bus or the MRT unless I am new to the place than my parents will send me there by car. But if the place is always very crowded and many people always go to that place, my parents will bring me there. I feel that we cannot just rely on cars to go to one place to another because sometimes your car can suddenly break down and if your car breaks down how are u going to go anywhere that is why we have out transport system. An average fare of transportation is around $4. With a very good network of transportation, it would be easy to travel from one place to another. I always experience being stuck in the traffic jam during peak hours. Some traffic jam can lead up to hours.
