Cutting to the beat makes the video flow much more naturally and seems more put together. It makes th video seem a lot shorter than what it actually is because of the chopping and changing of beats.

There are so many different effects you could use which include different colours, shapes, text etc. This video in particular uses all of these effects to make it more fun, interesting and exciting to look at. Watching a video like this would make you want to go and watch another one of Major Lazer's videos because it's so different and bright.

If Beyoncé was dancing and singing at the same time, it would be too hard for her to sound good and to keep up with the dance moves aswell. This technique is used a lot in music videos because the actual song can be put over the video in time to her lips to make it look like she is actually singing. This is also the case with live performances.

For example, when the car is being driven the camera is in the air and is moving. This shot works by the camera being on a craine. This is an effective shot because you can see that the can is actually being driven instead of being infront of a green screen. It makes the video more interesting and more exciting to watch because you can see the video from different perspectives.

I like this technique because you can chose whatever filter you like to go onto the screen and it can make the video look really modern and pieced together really well. It seems like a simple and cheap way to make a video because it doesn't seem very technical and doesn't seem like it requires much planning or preparation.
