By Carol McCloud
Illustrated by David Messing

This book would be great to read during National Kindness Week, and completing a corresponding activity with hearts and buckets with elementary students. This book explains that everyone has a bucket that we fill. We are either filling or unfilling it by the actions we use every day. The book talks of the importance of filling others' buckets and not taking away from others' buckets by being mean or bullying. We can add to our buckets and others' buckets by helping others or saying nice things.
