4. Belief in the Messengers

This is a pillar that distinguishes Islam from other religions. This is because Judaism and Christianity do not believe that 'Isah (Jesus) is a Messenger of Allah.
The Christians believe that Jesus is a son of God. Islam opposes that belief by believing Jesus is a Prophet of God. He want sent to the Children of Israel (Bani Israel) to proclaim the belief and worship of God alone. Muslims believe in all the Messengers of Allah.
So in Islam it is an obligation to believe in all Messengers. Leaving off any Prophet or Messenger constitutes to disbelief in Islam.

5. Belief in Day of Resurrection

It is also a pillar of Iman to believe in the Day of Resurrection. In Islam, Muslims believe that everyone is called to account for what he or she has done on earth. They believe in the punishment of Hell for those whom Allah is not pleased with, and Paradise for those whom Allah is pleased with.

The Day of Judgement is true and we will all be reckoned for our deeds. A Muslim must believe in all the events that will take place on that Day.
The belief in Scale (Al-Mizan) is also part of this pillar. The deeds of the people are placed on a Scale. When the good deeds outweigh the bad deeds, then he is the winner.
Day of Resurrection also concerns the case of The Bridge (Al-Sirat) which every Muslim must pass through. It is thinner than a hair and sharper than a sword. Some will cross it as quickly as a blink of an eye, others will crawl over it.
The people who fall from The Bridge in Hellfire are believers who will later go out of it. They will later be taken out again by believers who have known them from worldly life. Hypocrites also fall into hellfire and never get out.
How fast or slow a person crosses The Bridge depends on light. And that light is much through good deeds, or little through sins. The hypocrites will ask believers for light on that Day. But that will not be given to them.

The wisdom and positive value derived from worship (Ibadah) lie in recognizing our role as servants of Allah and following the rules set by Him (Surah Az Zariyat verse 56). Expressing gratitude through "Alhamdulillah" and virtuous actions enhances our connection with Allah. Improving the quality of prayer is essential, treating it as a sincere dialogue with our Creator. Genuine Ibadah, performed wholeheartedly, brings a sweet sense of fulfillment, making it a source of motivation for continuous acts of goodness in the future.

Performing acts of worship such as prayer, fasting, zakah, and hajj yield numerous positive values and wisdoms:

1) **Prayer:** According to Surah Al Ankabut verse 45, prayer serves as a deterrent against committing heinous and evil deeds. Fahsha' refers to physical abominations like adultery and drinking alcohol, while Mungkar encompasses inner evils such as denial of faith. Prayers prevent such acts through sincere devotion and concentration on God, fostering a pure heart, strong faith, and a desire to do good. Scholars emphasize three key elements in prayer's ability to prevent wrongdoing: sincerity, fear coupled with the glorification of God's greatness, and continuous remembrance of Allah even outside of prayer.

4) **Hajj:**

Surah Al-Baqarah verse 197 advises pilgrims to be mindful of behaviors that could diminish the reward of Hajj. These include refraining from immoral speech related to lust, avoiding sinful actions, and abstaining from arguments and trivial disputes. Pilgrims can achieve this by recognizing the inherent benefit of Hajj itself, which encourages them to steer clear of sinful behaviors. The experience of Hajj serves as an education, teaching pilgrims to remain steadfast and upright even after completing the pilgrimage. Maintaining consistency in righteousness and avoiding temptation are essential aspects of achieving a Hajj Mabrur, a pilgrimage accepted by Allah. This journey also serves as an opportunity for spiritual growth, educating individuals about controlling their desires. Ultimately, one of the indicators of a successful Hajj is the ability to maintain steadfastness in faith and conduct even after returning from the pilgrimage.

Preparing to attain 'Khusyuk' in prayer involves understanding its meaning - being quiet, calm, and humble. Khusyuk encompasses a noble nature reflected in terms of gentleness, serenity, and submissiveness. Imam Ibn Rajah noted that when the heart is humble, the entire body follows in humility. As Prophet Muhammad (SAW) mentioned, the state of the heart influences the entire being.

Humbling oneself leads to a calm soul and composed prayer movements. It involves not letting worldly concerns distract from the connection with Allah SWT. Showing appreciation for the imam's recitation is a way to express devotion in prayer. In essence, achieving 'Khusyuk' is about presenting one's heart to Allah, fostering a tranquil soul and composed engagement in the prayer.
