They make her life impossible and make her do the cleaning of the house and chores. One day, she goes to the ball and dances with the prince and loses her glass slipper when she leaves. At the end of the story, the prince finds Cinderella, and they live happily after.

"The Ugly Duckling" by Hans Christian Anderson. A swan that thought he was duckling and was not accepted by his siblings ducks. At the end he discovers that he is a swan a not a duck as he always thought.

"Apples and Pumpkins" by Anne Rockwell and illustrated by Lizzy Rockwell. Is the story of a girl who visits a farm and picks apples and a pumpkin. At her house, she carves a jack-o-lantern.

The first type of genre that I picked is Civil Wars, children learn about the wars but also about (Kiefer et al. 228).

The second type of the genre is the Author's Family Stories, which is about their personal stories and experiences (Kiefer et al. 228).

Collective biographies have multiple stories of people but with the same theme (Kiefer et al. 282).

Partial biography is only a small part of the person's life (Kiefer et al. 282).

A developmental marker that is acquired with historical fiction is cultural awareness; children can learn historical facts through books, people who have left a footprint in the world, culture, and more.

Resilience and problem-solving are also a developmental marker that children develop because, through historical fiction, they learn about people's courage and struggles.

An example for the classroom is to discuss how we can support each other.

"Narwhal Unicorn of the Sea" is written and illustrated by Ben Clanton. The story is about the friendship between a narwhal and a jellyfish and their adventures in the sea.

Manga originated in Japan and is closely related to an anime film. What is characteristic of manga are the Kawai illustrations and the humorous context. Something else that stands out is the sexual content not suitable for children in the United States. The cultural difference is noticeable (Kiefer et al. 101).

Comics uses images in sequential order to tell a story and text. There are several types of comics a couple of them are comic books, webcomics, and comic strips that can be found in newspapers, magazines, libraries, and bookstores (Kiefer et al. 106).

Graphica benefits students in the classroom; reading is more enjoyable because the text is simple (Kiefer et al. 84).

Graphica promotes critical thinking because children have to imagine through words and images the story (Kiefer et al. 84).

"Charlotte Web" was written by E.B. White and illustrated by Garth Williams. It is a story of friendship between a pig and a spider. The spider saves the pig from the slaughter house (Kiefer et al. 166)

"Where The Wild Things Are" was written and illustrated by Maurice Sendak. It is the story of Max, who let his imagination run wild, but he missed being loved and returns home for supper.

"Gondra Treasure" was written by Linda Sue Park and illustrated by Jennifer Black Reinhardt. It is the story of a dragon; his mother is a western dragon, and his father is an eastern dragon together, they take on the cultural differences and celebrate them together (Kiefer et al. 164).

Speculative fiction fosters imagination and creativity in children. The genre of speculative imagination encourages children to think, what if? and think of speculative things (Kiefer et al. 148).

Through Speculative fiction, social and political themes are touched. Speculative fiction also shows children the difference between the real world and their imagination (Kiefer et al. 147).
