Grandmother story ahead...

1. I've uploaded some academic journals for extra references. I've also uploaded my introduction and discussion part in words document for compilation purpose. Do upload the finalized work (compilation of material from all members) by 10.00 pm on Friday (19th May 2017) so that I can start writing the *conclusion.

2. Eswerea, you are in charge of the compilation.Remember to cross check the content from each member so that the flow is consistent (if the content is not in syn-crony, you can hold a meeting to discuss this matter). I would suggest Saturday (27th of May, after biochemistry mid-term). You can instruct us to change the content if you find it necessary.

3. Farah, for your part, do discuss about the Ocean Carbonate Chemistry and how does it affecst calcifying organisms. You can refer to my work to make sure our information are similar. I've uploaded some journal on carbonate chemistry that you may find useful. Anything just refer back to the proposal.

4. Deborah, besides buffer system, do talk about thermodynamics a little bit. Since ocean acidification is about ocean absorbing atmospheric carbon dioxide, this means that are less carbon dioxide contributing to climate change. Discuss how global warming, ocean acidification and biogeochemical cycle (specifically, carbon cycle) are interrelated. Since Eswerea is only describing the plot, you can ask her to assist you in completing your discussion part.

5. I found out that I wrote the wrong date for Hari Raya in the proposal writing. Hari raya is on 26th June but it is stated as 29th May in the proposal writing. I ask you guys to help me check the proposal content and you all said it was okay. Not cool >.< ...please check the content seriously next time

1. Please edit your part accordingly. I hope to received to revised work by Wednesday (7/6/2017), 4.00 pm. Use the free lecture slot tomorrow to revise your work. My comments are simply my opinion. Feel free to discuss back with me if there is anything.

2. Deborah, I think I would like to eliminate your part. You explain the reaction of buffer in a general manner, without talking about buffering capacity and relevant graphs. Also, there are too many chemical species to take into consideration to talk about buffering. Calcifying marine animal and coral reef also aids in buffering the sea (the sea alone does not act as the buffer in this case). Temperature, salinity, pressure are factors to considered while discussing buffering capacity. Plus, if the ocean is a good buffering system, why calcifying phenomena from marine animal shell still exit?

3. I can only proceed with the reflection and conclusion after receiving the revised work. I will compile the finalized work by Friday (9/6/2017) night, 11.00pm.
